IMHO the mod who locked the Labrador thread acted as a censor of free speach.
As an "ethnic minoity" I saw nothing offensive or racist in the joke....maybe some of my "brother and sisters" need to lighten up.

try telling that to a Dalmation, niether here nor there. Poor fuckers spend their lives confused. and with the added burden of knowing that even when they get through their dog teens, the spots still aint gonna dissapear.
Nope there's racism in the dog world, it's just scooped up and disposed of quitely so we don't get to see it.

Personally, I think it is an hilarious joke, and the colour is just used to identify the dogs. However, they could just as easily have been given names, it would do the same job, but avoid offending people. At the end of the day, it was a joke that was posted - not hugely important in the grand scheme of things.

Bi asian were offended by the fact that the thread was locked under the grounds of being *politically correct* and I think it was this they were offended by.

I don't see why the thread was locked - it's not normally done just because of one negative comment. If someone thinks the joke was so offensive, why has the whole thread not been deleted? And if the idea was that there should be no further discussion of it, why is this thread being allowed to run?

But the thread got locked to stop the aggro not for it to move elsewhere. It's just too much for us lot to bear sometimes - does anyone EVER think of that???
