Not much pisses me off...
I'm black, my wife is oriental...but over zelious "political correctness" is ruining this country...
IMHO the mod who locked the Labrador thread acted as a censor of free speach.
As an "ethnic minoity" I saw nothing offensive or racist in the joke....maybe some of my "brother and sisters" need to lighten up.
Have a good life peeps.

/me is not saying a word about flouncing :censored:
And not a frill around either... I demand a full blown flounce with all the huffing and puffing it takes.

As a serious answer to this, and hoping that Blasian_cpl will wait to see the responses. I would ask the general question to Blasian_cpl and anyone else who agrees with them:
If there was a comment, joke or opinion on here that you did find offensive enough that you wanted to comment, and the response was "You need to lighten up, your over zealous political correctness will censor free speech"
How would that make you feel?
Personally, I think it is an hilarious joke, and the colour is just used to identify the dogs. However, they could just as easily have been given names, it would do the same job, but avoid offending people. At the end of the day, it was a joke that was posted - not hugely important in the grand scheme of things.

I don't see why the thread was locked - it's not normally done just because of one negative comment. If someone thinks the joke was so offensive, why has the whole thread not been deleted? And if the idea was that there should be no further discussion of it, why is this thread being allowed to run?
Mike.
You lot can pick a fight in a paper bag in a dark room.
We are trying to AVOID conflict and you just seem to want more and more of it. I'm totally baffled.
:confused2: :confused2: :confused2:
Are the words conflict and discussion being used interchangably now?
