This is probably the most misinformed piece of literary bollox you have ever written.
I can assure you there is not now nor has there ever been any kind of conspiracy against new members of ANY orientation, creed, race, class or gender. Whether new or established. You need to look at the diversity of the people here to see how utterly silly that statement really is.
Judy

Wll deflected judy, now while he's distracted you'd better get to the weekly noobie bashing planners meet
(it's in the clique room this week, shhhhh!!!! )

Judy

thank you for writing this judy,
when i was a newbie, i was welcomed with almost open arms.
i never felt as if there was any "conspiracy" against new members.
agreed, my posts may seem trivial to some, but i'm a very light hearted type of person, and if i can at least raise a smile on some folks faces, then i am a very happy man.
i do have a serious side, which you can see from some reply's i have left.
if i have no opinion, i keep my trap shut, if i can lighten a thread that is getting "a bit too serious" then so be it.
i have fun on here, and intend it to stay that way. i have made good friends
well, thats my two-penny-worth....

So i gather no one would be interested in a "do you dress to the left of right" thread then.....:

I would... you start da69ve wink
Although I agree with Vix's comments - I too find myself drawn to the "anyone know what to do with a 12" c**k" threads but she's absolutely right, sarcasm isn't particularly helpful although it can be amusing to others
I do feel of that that some people have posted just for the sake of speaking recently and it's back fired - one of my worst faults but I do try and keep my mouth shut more now... sometimes... when appropriate... :P
Actually idea there for my own very new thread....

*Grabs coat and runs (ok, limps quickly) to the Noob Bashing (TM Vix 2004) meeting.*
Hold on Vix, just getting me coat.. I'm coming too wink
When I was new, Judy didn't bash me - why she even walked me home
I think Angel-Chat may have tried to 'bash' me but I was too drunk to remember.. I know that she got her tits out several times  lol
I was made to feel most welcome as a newbie.. can't see what all the fuss is about. You reap what you sow in this life.. end of! rolleyes

with that in mind and after reading these comments i have come to the conclusion that maybe my initial comment was maybe far from the actual facts. i appoligise in advance. wink
i have to agree with the fact that every one has an opinion and that depending on there moods and swings the subject can be read in several ways.....even if we dont see eye to eye.....
but still i wonder rolleyes  confused:
as a fairly new comer to this site and after reading the forum for a few weeks now i am still adament that new topics are still directed at the old timers, redface sorry no offense i will re rite that one, experianced forum members... surprisedops: when comments are made maybe in hast from a new member they are quickly shot down and made to feel like they have to prove the right to opinion.. :? :? :? even if with all good attentions they wish to attend a munch so that they can maybe meet and get to know the other members in there area. there seems to be some conspiricy.... :?

You're quite right, that's not what it's about, and your interpretation of it is unnecessarily defensive. As people here spend more time getting to know each other, the tone of their posts inevitably changes, just as people who know each other in the pub talk to each other differently from the way relative strangers talk to each other. This isn't a conspiracy, it's the normal development of social relationships.
Where SH differs from the pub is that if you're new or feeling left out, it's a lot easier to join in... nobody's going to say sod off, you're not with us. And by joining in and becoming known, those conversations that you think exclude you now will become just normal background banter that you are part of. We were all new once, and none of us has anything to gain by consciously ostracising people just for being in the same position we were once in.
What you also have to bear in mind is that most of the forum regs know each other in real life, and that does affect the way we talk to each other online, but that's not an exclusive little clique, it's a constantly growing army and the only person who can exclude you from it is yourself. smile

Pardon? A conspiracy to prevent you attending a munch? Now let's see what happened last Monday: You said you were intending to go to the social drink in Norwich organised by Harry Jones and friends:

Looks like you've been rumbled as just yet another whinger adeymull rolleyes
Well spotted Mike
well just to put you all right about the festival,
i was at the festival, got glass to prove.
the others attending were at another location prior to going to festival,
norfolk bbw can confirm that i am honest and do not let people down. also harry new of the prior arrangements that were made and it was not written in concrete that we were going to be there at the same time, it was just a possiabillity.
so as far as i am concerned ..
bollocks to you all... i have nothing to prove to anyone.
mad
still as i have said before this was not to offend anyone and in the event that i have stepped over the line the please accept this as an appoligy.
as to the munch situation it was not me who was denied to attend but i had noticed other members who have asked politly to attend but only to be told that they need to be more involved and to get known better... confused
as for the conspiricy wording maybe that was not the best of words to use. so i have learnt a lesson and will choose my words more carefully next time.

And you know exactly why! Besides, those who ask politely are responded to politely.....you're purposely phrasing it in a way to sound elitist!
However, if you are that bothered then rather than make negative statements about it, try some positive action.......organise a get together where the attendance criteria is that you must have joined SH after a certain date if it's something that you feel needs to be changed! While most people follow forum guidelines for social events, I doubt it will bother anyone if you want to do otherwise!
adey
norwich or ipswich biggrin
is this guy for real.......... confused: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:
it wasnt you i met last week was it????????????????????
