Bragging and boasting is generally frowned upon and seen as quite distasteful.

In British society anyway - if we were American it would be a way of life lol

Now i set the glasgow schools 1500m record in 1995, since then i have achieved nothing.

mmmmmmmmm Jaymar crunching ice cubes, I love doing that, and always ask for extra ice so I can eat them.
Anyways back to my brag.......
I wrote a poem about the Hillsborough Tradgedy, which was submitted to Radio Merseyside to consider for inclusion in a book to raise money for the victims and their families.
Over 2000 were submitted, and mine was one of only 95 picked for inclusion in the book called 'Words of Tribute'
Something I am very proud of, all those many years ago!!

Won a few titles but won't bore you with details but two things do spring to mind.
G/F Won the full contact Scottish Karate Chapionship at her first attempt and never gave away a point oh !! and Yeah !! I have fought In the Octagon in Las Vegas altho a few years ago now. smile
