Why??? Why do people lie??
I've just found out somebody has been lying to me again and it's really pissed me off!!! If it wasn't for me actually seeing it with my own eye's I wouldn't of known. I feel i've let myself down as i was kinda beginning to trust them..
Is this something that yourselves don't like??

Insecurity usually, or they are hiding something, or someone.
Lies are not good in general, thought it kind of depends on the scale. Telling your 4 year old their picture of a car is "lovely", when it is plainly barmy cack, is not really on the same scale as saying you are single when you are not, or fucking someone else behind a partners back. Or that you are an adonis with a 12 incher when you are called Clive and have to use tweezers when you go the lavatory.
The only enjoyment factor in lies is when someone gets found out and starts squirming.
It makes you wonder, I mean if someone feals the need to tell lies to someone they met on a swinger website then they are either very sad or are hiding a partner who they are also lying to. I understand that some folks on here are looking for something more than no strings encounters, and Im guessing that if you think you have found a long term friend or lover that you would want to know everything about them. In those circumstances it would be evil to petend one is after the same thing, when in reality all they want is a fuck or two.
Anyway whoever upset you, I hope it brings them a lot of luck, bad luck!

Well i don't want to speak to them anymore. The obviously think im stupid or something and didn't expect to get caught out.
I'm feeling fine thanks... It's just so annoying. Liars always get caught in the end.. Especially when they are shopping in your work with the person they have been telling you for the last 2 weeks there no longer in a relationship with.

its hard when people you trust, especially those you class as friends or even closer, betray that trust, use you, lie to you, sneak about behind your back whilst telling you something else to your face, the feelings of hurt, betrayal, you get annoyed at yourself for trusting them, all i can say is these people are not worth our time and effort, and will most likely go through their whole life doing the same thing to others and our lives are a better place for their absence.

Trust nobody in life except yourself, and you won't go far wrong.
I tend to think less in absolute values now with people. that you get the truth in small amounts and in different ways and situations.
that its just as much your own responsibility with people as theirs when it comes to trust and honesty etc.
the idea that you can expect certainties and such like is misleading and usually likely to dissapoint. It is achievable but sometimes at the cost of something else being compromised.
