It's gorgeous, although I now prefer Meridian Yeast Extract, you get a great big jar for Â£2.

Mmmmm marmite
I've had it in my sandwiches every single day for about 25 years now and just love it.
I buy one of those gigantic jars and just keep spreading it on. biggrin

It is truely disgusting stuff, however the treacle and marmite miners have been having a tough time of it over the last few years and seeing as its the only deep mining we have left in this country after the closure of the tin and coal mining industries, I do make a concious effort to buy a jar each week ,just to do my bit to keep these mines working and would urge everyone else to do the same. There really is no need to eat it and it is perfectly possible to dilute it with about 20 parts warm water whence it makes a very acceptable replacement for creosote, so please, preserve your fences and sheds and help support a very old industry.

I cant vote on that theres no middle button,
I cant stand marmite on butties but love gravy made with it poured lavishly over a good roast dinner ummmm lol
