I have been squinting at it, twisting my head round, hanging upside down to look at it - and I still can't quite make it out. At first I thought it was something intimate and that I ought to know what it was so I was too embarrassed to ask. I like Rocky's suggestion of John Merrick - but I ought to recognise it if it is that. After all, I bear a very strong resemblance to Merrick's much uglier brother. Like Quasimodo - only not so pretty :eeek:
I suspect that Sappho, in her omniscience, will know immediately. So come on sweetheart, put us out of our misery. Besides, if I try and turn upside down and then squint at it again all the blood will rush to my head and I'll fall over :shock: (again

Even before Dawn's post I thought I could make out a beak and a pair of eyes, and I suppose that does seem more likely now. I think that whatever it is wearing a large hat with a feather in it - but I can't be sure!

Just a good grinding and stamping on your scrotum with DMs and then an old blunt Stilton scoop to scrape out the mushy remains! The snip (and the shaving) will have been a picnic compared to this!!!

The trouble is I can't find the optician's!!! 
I have been to get my eyes tested several times. So far I have been into a dentist, and ended up with three fillings I didn't need; a florist - still at least I could send a little something to Sappho; and an Estate Agent who sent me out with an armful of properties that weren't what I was looking for in an area that I didn't want to live in and at prices that I couldn't afford. That was three months ago and I am still on their bloody mailing list now! I only wanted some contact lenses!
The last time I thought I had found an optician it turned out to be a hairdresser! They were very confused and had even less of an idea why I was there than I did. Anyone who has met me will know what I mean!! :shock:
It is one of those ironies that I can't get my eyes tested until I find an optician and I can't find an optician until I have had my eyes tested.
