I’ve just had a nasty experience went to parallel park the car and forgot how to drive redface
Now this manoeuvre is normally instinctive no thought required but could my brain work it out hell NO mad
I had to drive of and try again this time no problem biggrin
What I want to know is dunno
A. Is this Old Timers Disease :silly:
B. My Feminine side coming out :rose:
C. A Brain tumour forming resulting in my agonising death banghead
D. Perfectly normal it happens to us all :bounce:
this is designed by parisians where parkings a night mare
not for the faint hearted or owners of expensive exotica
the skill will return

After watching my neighbours trying to parallel park on the road opposite, I can scientifically confirm that women can't parallel park.

This is the same scientific confirmation that single guys are tosser is it?
Don't lump all women together because a few have difficulties ... the only reaon women some can't park is because they've had men tell them that this
<-------------------------------------------------------->
is 6 inches ;)

Seeing as noone else is taking you seriously...
Parallel parking is reversing into a space between two obstructions (cars etc) so that you end up parked parallel to the kerb (ie reversing into a space on the road rather than a long one in a car park)

Not single, show me a woman who can parallel park (and I want to see it) and I'll apologise, and it looks like 3 inches to me lol
I can parallel park - no problem!
Stop parallel to car in front and line up the back wheels. Reverse until front wheel of YOUR car is lined up with back wheel of other car, then straighten up. May need a litle to-ing and fro-ing if you've been careless.
 rolleyes

Fair point.
Unfortunately
But when that does happen, it usually says far more (to me at least) about the jumpers than those jumped upon wink

now call me picky jags....or worse if ya like, but you kinda started off with a strong and bold approach to parallel parking, all very logical and matter of fact and then kinda hedged yer bets a bit by chuckin in a bit of to-ing and fro-ing.....now, this is where me picky bit comes, cos isn't to-ing and fro-ing, another way of saying, fuckin around cos it went wrong. dunno
