I love sprouts and eat them all year round I even grew some one year, just to prove I could actually grown something without killing it in a few days ops:
I love sprouts too but somehow, they just dont taste the same as they used to do I wonder if Brussels has anything to do with that Well they were responsible for our cucumbers and banannas losing their kink!

Brussels Sprouts should be banned..They are horrible, the only good thing you can do with a sprout is freezing it and lobbing them at the noisy kids in the street..

I had a brussel sprout free Christmas dinner.....the way it should be! Who started that daft tradition anyway? :)
It started in Belgium............ Brussels Sprouts: History The vegetable may have been given its name from the fact it was sold in Brussels' markets in the 1200's. But it didn't catch on until much later. By the late 18th century, it was being cultivated in England and France. The third president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, introduced Brussels sprouts to North America in 1812 but no one seems to know who introduced it to England or wether or not it was introduced as a festive treat.
