again, not me, but i have seen it happen a lot.

The mods always have a good reason for locking a thread, and as far as I'm aware always offer an explanation as to why they are locking it. I don't see a problem with that, remember that they are here to make sure that everything runs smoothly not to cause problems.

when u get insulted in the chatrooms it nice to know a mods around to sort it out,,,,,,,,
they can be helpfull if u have a problems,,,,
they don t get paid for the work they do,,,,
n if a threed is locked,,,, might be u posted it twice,,, or its not worth to keep it going,,, if u ask the mod that locked it they will tell u why,,,,,,

Oh and Mods, yes, I love them.. so much so I want to shag them.. all, except Sarge as that would cost too much (no, he isn't a prostitute!).
And brucie.. I'd shag him too - and then some.
We all have different values and principles and we are all different and this will always have an impact on the way we do our 'jobs'. So two Mods doing the same job will go about it in a slightly different way - it doesn't make them inconsistent, just different - same as the Police for example. The end result will likely be the same though.
Actually, that sounds like mixed up bollox when I read it back.. it made sense in my head! confused

Brucie dude .. best thing to happen round here in ages.. dont mean i agree with the dude ..but seeing as this is the mods thread .. dont ban him .. very entertaining .. much better at this than true scorpio .. spent a good three minutes reading the forum and ive only been out all day .. catching up lately has usually only took 30 seconds ..

The guy seems entertaining and lets be fair, how many people on this forum actually even bother to start a new thread of any topic?
Yes he bitches...so what? Yes he can nit-pick...but who cares?
I enjoy his threads to be honest, and if anyone thinks they do not, then either move onto another topic, or better still do one yourself.

Brucie yes I have seen threads locked for reasons that I found absurd.
The trouble is many times it is the way it has always been on here. One mod will lock a thread and others would have left it open. There is no consistency at times.
The AUP is so long winded and so many rules, that sometimes mods can be a little over zealous.
If you do strong topics then sometimes you have to expect it to be locked. But I thought this was an adult site for adults, but sometimes that goes out of the window.
