Not anything to do with swinging but I think if you post an answer tothis question it will tell everybody a lot about you.
You have a flute and must give it to one of three children.
Child A says that they are the only one who can play the flute and therefore would be able to use it to greater effect than the others.
Child B says that they have no other toys and the flute would give them something to play with.
Child C says that as they made the flute they should have it.
Who do you give the flute to and why?
B and thank god it wasnt a recorder
child C......if they had bothered and made the effort to make it....they should have it.
If A or B want one they can either make their own..or pay C to make another for them.
Child C should give the flute to child A who can then teach B how to play it
i would sell the flute and buy them an ocarina each.
are these child(s) in the same family?
Can they share?
throw it in the air and let them fight for it... character forming, and the flute gets broken... result!
lp
It is child c's flute so you don't have a right to give it to anyone
child c cus its their flute
well... I still like the idea of brawling children and blunt instrements.

I'd keep the flute for myself and make them go work in the factories
None, if they can't share nicely they don't get the toy !
Get child c to make 2 more flutes.
Teach them all to share......
child A
child C can obviously make another one, and has a talent for woodwork that probably excedes his musical talent
child B can be entertained by child A (viceversa is not possible)..learn something about music and maybe borrow the flute from him.
also, that way the flute will be put to proper use, without causing screeching noises (children can pursue making chaotic noise for no purpose at all for hours)
