Only thing that ever really scared me was the song "Flash" for flash gordon as a child by queen, dunno why just used to freak me out!!

did you know the childcatcher was played by sir robert helpmann who was also principle lead in the vic wells ballet between 1933-1950
which was one of the reasons he got the part in the film because of his movement, god what am i doing !!!! i need to get out more

Sadako Yamamura from Ringu (The Ring)
The Cenobites (Hellraiser) were scary, although ironically I think Pinhead was the least scary of them all to be honest. biggrin

But in the absence of her.. I'd pick Jason Voorhees... he kicks Michael Myers arse any day.
As a kid, the two things which totally terrified me were pretty much all of the mutations in The Thing and (wait for it) the two Oddbods from Carry on Screaming!!! *blush*
