well.....i do like my music....and two years ago i was raving on about Ting Tings...and they duly came through and made the break through. last year i was telling everyone about Deadmau5 and he duly came through in last 6 monthes and made the break through.........so now for 2010 I predict Simian Mobile Disco are going to make the break through. I have there last album temporary pleasure..and its great..well worth checking out.
So what is your prediction for a band or artist that we currently don't know about, but you think will make the break through next year !!!
ok im way to tipsy to predict who will break thru next year but just wanna say the ting tings are brilliant ... saw them at the radio 1 big weekend and they were fantatsic smile
Owl City.
I cannot get Fireflies out of my head at the mo. (I don't know if that is a good or bad thing though?! dunno)
I'd love to see another album from The Last Shadow Puppets too.

Not only have i seen Steps live, i was on stage with them (ok, it was a work thing, like i'd pay money to see that shite) :haha:
Whatever I fancy listening too
I listen to songs old new whatever and if I like them I listen to them again. I dont care who sings them who promotes them or where they came from. I like songs from all eras and from all musical genres. Ears open to everything made be it sung by Art Garfunkel or promoted by Simon Cowell I really couldn't give a toss.
Hawkwind will spark the New World Revolution by playing Orgone Accumulator live to the entire planet simultaneously using thier so far hidden technologies.
At the very moment hat the final line Ten Seconds of Forever finishes, they balst the United Kingdom's Houses of Parliament from space with long wave radiation... fargmenting and disipating matter, ending the tradition concept of Law and Government in a brilliant fractal display of matter transformation.
the world will rejoice.
lp
Gaslight Anthem will be on my turntable a lot...
Don't know about making it big, I quite liked 'les corps mince de francoise - something golden' but it seems a bit of a one off.
Burgeoning Spirit and the Flatulent Trombonist.
A sort of Belgian Jazz fused with Dutch Rap. Magic stuff.
I predict the return of Ivor Biggun and the red nosed burglars with Amelia Blowhard and the burglarettes backing
Bad Lieutenant - Bernard Sumner's new band (ex lead with New Order)
Saw them at the Pet Shop Boys gig in December and they were excellent!!
