My First Munch

Hopefully if all goes well I will be attending my first munch in March in Bristol.
However i dont know too much about them or what to do at a munch.
Could anyone take me by the hand so to speak and show me around and introduce a few people.
I would be most greatful.

Ask the organsier if there is any hand holders. There usually is!!!
And try to get tp the pre-munch drinks, they helped me a lot at my first munch

hi, first post, been reading them all for a couple of days without replying, and sure this isnt the kind of first post to endear me to the masses, however, in my opinion, drewxcore is a pure fanny, have never seen so much pish spouted by one individual in my entire life!

As mentioned, try to get to pre-Munch drinkies and get a hand-holder as they can introduce you to lots of people and get you known around the event.

i dont know , maybe your a good guy, but you sound a bit like my 13 year sister. Its all look at me, listen to me, give me attention.

someone doesnt respond to you, you moan!
someone disagrees with you. you get a girly strop.

I dont know what is the matter with people today, I`ve encountered so many rude catty people today at work and now people are in here doing it!! :shock: :shock:
It`s not a full moon so what`s up with these people who feel the need to spout insults and nastiness?
Must be the crap weather and lack of sun to cheer them up. confused

Back to the topic....
36 and I went to our first munch a couple of weeks ago and we had a great time. We didnt have a hand holder and we didnt make it to the pre munch drinks although we wish now that we had done. But even so, we kept seeing peoples names on their badges and knew we`d chatted with them on here so we said hello and had a chat with quite a few people.
We had a really good night and we`re looking forward to our next munch.
I hope you enjoy your night too, there are some great people go to them. They`re so friendly and welcoming.
