i think there should be some where were you can name and shame time wasters we have had to many time wasters now and they have all been single males plz have a name and shame part on here
There is a Shrep system on this site. If you arrange your meets through this then feedback can be left on their Shrep if it is turned on.
Just naming and shaming on the public forum is not allowed on this site

And just for equality you understand how many single guys have had their time wasted by couples and single ladies ??
Plenty....
think Just naming and shaming is not a good idea....
if some one don t like some body, they could name them n give a bad rep for nothing.
we find the shrep is handy....yes we have had time wasters n very rare we do still get caught out.
now those we not sure of we just say sorry got to many at mo.....
or tell them to put there names down for a social....
do i make sence?
The whole point was always not to be able to leave any negative feedback'
I am and always was in favour of a system that allowed members to leave feedback for others.
The only feedback we wanted to see was that the said individual/s had actually turned up for the meet.
There is a two pronged approach for us. IF someone has been on the site for a while and does not activate Shrep, we could possibly ask why, and if they did have it activated and had nothing written on it, that would also make us wonder.
The object of a verification system for us, was simply to show that people had actually turned up for a meet, regardless of whether any play took place or not.
Yes of course it could show that a person turned up for a meet but was actually a total loser, that is something that we would have to find out for ourselves, we just want the chance of a no show to be as limited as possible.
It's not that I dont agree it's just I wondered why....
I have been here since December 2003 and dont have SHREP activated and wondered what that made me....
I fit helps steve we dont have shrep enabled either and neither from what i can see do some of the more vociferous contributors to this debate.
seems fair enough to me. just as long as there is a category for dim witted couples who persist in selecting useless time wasters. there has to be reason why they are so consistently adept at it.
I enjoyed the first one but thought going for a third was a little bit of a cash in
Half the trouble with SHrep is it tries to be all things to all members.
Until it's adopted by all it's useless, if nobody uses it, it's redundant but 'optional' is the worst possible lash-up.
Serial time-wasters will never activate it, those with it off by choice will eventually suffer, people who use it only to find it won't give an accurate reflection of the truth and will get disillusioned with it...we're quickly falling into the last category.
So much promise - so little delivery..
Its not time for the
"everybody picks on me" line again is it--that's usually the third Tuesday of the month.
i dont have shrep acctivated, nor will i ever do so.
does this mean i will not get people messaging me for meets? i dont care as if im looking "Im" looking im not the hunted i prefer to be the hunter lol
would shrep influence my desision on meeting someone or not? nope. why not well because i would have to get a feeling for someone , not rely on what could be someone elses judgement.
in fact if i look at the quickies etc and see lots of comments i actually dont like it. i prefer discretion.
if not having shrep means people will not reply to my message to meet etc then fair enough.
as long as the not having shrep does not influence if i can attend socials etc then i dont care.
people whated this, some pointed out the pointlessness of it, and i feel what we have now are peopel just with another feature to complain about.
you wanted it, you got it, dont moan if no one wants to use it use the best tool you have , common sense.
