A question for the site's designers - are you actually swingers or do you do this just for a job?
I ask because the layout doesn't instantly give the sort of info that is needed. You have to scroll down just to get to the location but the biggest and most prominent feature is given to the (for want of a better phrase) "picture bar".
Why is this? To avoid any accusation of pandering to the voyeurs and picture collectors, why not place the Quick Information and Looking For towards the top of the profile page screen and then the pix at the bottom.
Our survey said that people wanted custom profiles, they also wanted to be able to make notes, select options to, accomodate, travel, send virtual gifts etc.
Funnily enough if you select the options in your profile they page fills up, the rest of the room top centre is for SHrep when it goes live in the next month or so, and a public planner (if you want to display it). In short the old page would not accomodate, you have the nearest upgraded one possible in blue, pink and green for those who dont like change.
The old ones took 5 mins to build these took months!!!!
I presume that this has happened partly or mainly due to the survey carried out by SH on the members?
Seems that is what was asked for?
I like some of it but not all of it, but with change people will have the same take on it that I have possibly?
They may well tweak it here or there, but the format seems ok.
Ohhh there should only be a choice of ten for non extras.. thanks for that will get that fixed :lol
whats this SHrep business?
SHrep is a reputation system that "most" of the site members wated and voted to have, nearly 90% from memory. But like all changes here a few people hate everything you do. No problem with that its just the way it is. Fortunately that is the power of cross site surveys everyone gets to have a say and we only build what people vote to have.
Those in the know, think it is nothing like what any other site has. But feel free to comment when you get the information and facts. But I think you will be very surprised at how well thought out it is and just how it works.
How can you say you will not use something without knowing anything about it??

Judge still out here, Haven't tinkered with it myself yet as I like my information where it is right now. Have viewed a few profiles with the new layout and agree it isn't as handy though it certainly looks more up to date.
I do notice the "new profile" still sits on the old background site which doesn't look right at all.
This has always been a site where the content is more important than the presentation, I just hope that can be retained while improving the look. I agree everyone likes to tinker with profiles.
Really not sure about the gifts malarkey. Pretty much everyone seems to hate winks and this just seems like adding flavours of wink.
You can only send one gift a day or 2 if extras so I doubt you will get that many tbh
