Howsabout keeping tabs on the most used sections for a couple of weeks, and ordering them from most to least popular? dunno

And/ or considering a parent & child board system- works well elsewhere.
EG:

Child boards:
Socials & Munches
Dogging meets

The Cafe
Child Boards:
Swinging
Soapbox
Steamroom
Introductions
Just for fun
And so on- then if you're a non meeter, you just hit the cafe. A non natterer, the meetings section.

Is it just me or does anyone else remember when people used to post?
Is there a forum that I havent found yet, where everyone is posting & chatting?

I was hoping to find something that was more logical, but was also easy to scan. I'll have to give it more thought.

Oooh well I have an idea, it's radical but it just might work - why don't we merge the threads into maybe 3 or 4 new ones? Call them something like, oooh, I dunno - The Cafe, Let's Meet Up, Dogging and Chatroom?

the only think that ever needed being possibly considered for me was spliting lets meet up into two just like dean said.... but heck if we are going to hack the cafe as well then the above is the best suggestion for me so far....
ripped the heart out of the cafe as far as i am concerned and SH is worse for it....

I do think that Introduce Yourself has brought a few new posters out but thats it, I agree with Dean.

I've had a couple of days away from this place and I'm glad to see things have improved. Let's hope the Cafe gets back to the fun place it used to be

It would be interesting to know when Admin think that is likely to be. Most consultations have a closing date don't they.
I think it is encouraging that Admin have obviously put in a fair bit of effort to rearrange things because the fora are only a very small part of the site traffic I should imagine - the best way is to try it and see.
What I hope does not happen is that the fora are killed by the change such that it is not worth supporting them anymore.

Is there any way that people's membership status could be included in either their profile or their relationship icon so you know if they are guests, basic members or extras? Unless they have more than 12 photos or have changed the colour on their profile, the only way to tell if they are extras members seems to be to be in the chatroom. If it can be incorporated into the chatroom icons, why not use the same icons in my 'friends'/'favourites' sections? At least then when I perve someone's profile, I'll know if they know it was me redface

again!
