Having started on 'the patch' recently, i have to say that the dreams i am having at night....well wow....i never knew there was such a dark and eviant side to my psyche.
I feel like a 15 year old teenager again, every morning i wake up feeling like i have shagged the whole (female) population of the world during the night, twice!
Has anyone else had vivid dreams whilst on the patches????

well i was going to ask for comparisons with LSD, mushrooms etc...I can recommend the patches though, I've not sweat this much since..well, ever? hey i bet they make great weight loss thingy's...I'll keep you all posted on that one (though blue you dont need it, oooh those legs, legs to die for)

unfortunately vivid dream and nightmares are a side effect of the patches if they get too much use the 14 hour ones
on a lighter note.......if the dreams are that good.......take double strength

yep! i tried the 24 hour patches, which have to say were pretty good. quite liked 'em actually, especially when i chain smoked a coupla marlboroughs.

Serious this time: My doctor is advising me to pack in smoking but I was suprised to learn from him that if tobbaco was illegal in would fall under class A substances . Apparently it is medicaly similar in its effects and withdrawl symptoms etc.
Good news is in a week or two these problems will pass and you will be free of the addiction and all the good things will happen for you !!! sincerley best wishes to you you CAN do this!!!!!!

tobacco would most definitely be banned outright, as would alochol, if we had the same criteria for prohibition that we apply to those other things, them illegal ones, you know . . .
drop for drop, nicotine is about the deadliest little poison you can come up with, and prolly whups cyanides sorry little backside. a few milligrams of nicotine will kill. if we're looking at harm, then booze and tobbacco whup pretty much every other substance as far as deaths and chronic consequences of abuse goes . . .
luckily, the addiction / withdrawal phase of tobacco is pretty damn quick. if you don't top up the craving within . . say an hour . . then the withdrawal is mental, not physical. at that point, you decide not so much to give up smoking, as to actively take up smoking, he says, with a cig in his gob. ;)

You do know you're supposed to take the old patches off before you put a new one on

So basically the next two weeks will be hell (I miss them dreadfully), but I take solice in the fact that nicotine seems to be pretty nasty stuff, and i thought all the harm was in the carciagens.
