I am relatively new here, yet am known by people on the forums and chatroom and have been invited to munches, because I have got involved, taken part and generally just been myself.
So, why don't you drop the attitude, and actually try and get to know people! Make posts on the forums that actually join in and don't just attack people, without any provocation!

When someone has been here for a period of time and familiarised themselves with the atmosphere here, they develop very finely-tuned antennae and can discern immediately which newbies are honest and genuine, and which are ...well...not entirely serious, to put it kindly. This is one of the most warm and welcoming internet communities I have ever known, but we do not suffer fools gladly.

I've got to say, and speaking as a fairly new member as well, you haven't got off to a good start with your origanal post. I go to Liaisons Swingers club in Rochdale, and as a single guy, it took a while to get known and accepted. Last Friday, I went for the first time to Partners in Bury, and got no fun/action at all, but at least I made small talk with a few people. It may be a while, before I get accepted at Partners, or invites to Munchies, off the Forum, but I know these things take time , so show a little bit more tact, and perseverance.
