or people who just want to use the chat rooms. I know what you mean though, can be quite frustrating, also gives out the wrong signals in a lot of cases, like, couldn't be arsed kind of thing. 
Well, consider the amount of unwanted correspendence that users already receive, from people who they say haven't read their ad or profile.
That is a frequent moan on the forums.
Then the other quite frequent moan to be posted is "why don't people respond even to say no thanks."
Not having an ad/pics/full profile information virtually eliminates both of these problems(from my perspective as a member)
That's why I do it anyway.

i tottally agree if your gonna join the site and then procede to send out winks
(eg the part about dropping by to read there`s and letting them know what you think )
you go to the profile and nothing

Very true....there are some people here, ourselves included, who do not have an ad and are not looking to meet anyone at the moment (outside of the clubs we attend) Funnily enough, not everyone on here is wanting to meet all the time. Though, somehow, still got two PM's today from men who clearly can't read what it says on our profile

Totally agree with you that it seems pointless if you are going to be contacting others, particularly with a message that invites people to check out your profile.

you should have the profile filled out completley before sending msgs or using the forum and chat

Why?
There are people who have been using the forums and chat quite comfortably for several years without a profile or an ad. Some of them have actually managed to meet a large number of people off this site without ever completing a profile. If you need to read people's ads or profiles there are plenty out there, just ignore the people who don't want one, not can't be bothered to fill one in.

ive checked out a few swinging sites and by far this is the best one
why? because its got all the features you ever need like a profile page, you can find out if they are lying like about their age. ie. in chat room they say 35yrs old on profile it reads 40yrs old, which has happened, its my opnion im not saying its right but by my choice if a person cant spend 5mins filling the profile out i just think they have something to hide

Check my profile, is there something to hide there? I would bet that I have met far more people from this site than you so am fairly confident that I don't have anything to hide. We do not do private meets, we don't want to be mithered by people asking us to meet, so why on earth should I fill a profile out? The best way to find out if people have something to hide is to spend a little time on the site and read what they say in chat or forums rather than relying on a profile - 2 weeks doesn't really seem a long enough time to sort out the wheat from the chaff.

i do agree with what you said and of course you have meet more, we have only just started but going by your profile you dont want people to know your age why? whats wrong with telling your real age? names i can understand and of course chatting to them online and in forums you will find out a lot about them, but spending 5 mins of your time just clicking a few boxes just makes it easier to see if you match up and how far apart each other is, before wasting both parties time by saying, where you from, how old, what are you after etc.
Like many users I deliberately don't have my profile filled in - in order to discourage people from sending unsolicited PM's. Lord alone how many you must receive is you do have some info there.
I agree that if you are contacting someone else you should have completed your details, its just a waste of everyone's time. But if you are only using the forum or chat room (or just sitting here minding your own business like me) then I see no need.
I suspect that forum member who completed there profile way back when there was no option for age or sex or any other information and who are not actively looking for meets will see no point in changing their details.

and thats totally fine celticq each one to them selves, myself personally i like to see as much info as i can and let people see as much info about us before we just waste each others time. as i said, thats is just me, i have nothing to hide, im not saying you or northwest-couple and anyone who havent filled in there profile have. those are just my views

As I wrote, we don't want to be contacted by chancers, because we don't want to meet from here because we only play at clubs. Amazingly, an age of 109 seems to put them off. Surprisingly northwest-cpl doesn't live in SW1 either.

Unfortunately, you did say people who hadn't filled a profile had something to hide. I'm sure you don't really think that, but it's best not to suggest that you may be thinking in that way. Before last December you would have found the forums and chat rooms a very different place, where there was no real need for profiles among the regular users. People tended to use the adverts section if they wanted their details displayed and that was a completely seperate part of the site.

1. Because I don't want to.
2. Because if I fill details in and then put I don't want to meet, it won't stop people writing "I see you don't want to meet, but if you ever change your mind..."

have you considered that some of us want to remain annonymous from the rest of the will send photos,meet and have fun with those people that we choose to let know about what we consider to be our private life

Until recently there hasn't been a text box where people can put information. Anyone who was here before all the changes occured didn't eve have the options. There isn't a not currently looking box otherwise I'd have ticked it. We do swing but prefer not to have an ad as we're in a situation where one night we're all one for a meet and a hour later it may have all had to be called off, so rather than being labelled as timewasters we prefer to contact people we know or who understand our situation and appreciate that we may have a last minute drop out
(and yes we have had this happen and been called fakes and timewasters!!)I'm here for the laughs, the friendship and the community! You get admin to add those boxes and I'll fill my profile in properly!
We don't all fit into neat little categories ... why bother about something someone else hasn't done??

Very well put.....many of us like to keep certain details to ourselves and those who we wish to share it with....despite what it seems (from some of the 'quick shag' messages on the 'Let's Meet Up' section
) for many of us swingng isn't about giving it away to everyone...it's about giving it to those we choose to give it to Warming the Bed

im not saying that you should put face pics up or any type of pics or your real names just the basic stuff,
age, location what you are after. to me and this is my view it just makes life easier, if it states on your profile that you did not want to be contacted i would honour that, im not saying everyone else will, and yes i know thats why you have no profile.
