I travelled by train or car THREE times to meet the same woman and she did a no show on me everytime (she was not from SH I hasten to add), another couple arranged a dogging meet with me and it was a 100 mile round trip and they didn't show again not from here. I know where you are coming from.

hmm ... annoying no-shows, not had one happen to us but im sure at least one person on here thinks we did it to them , tho ive only ever seen him in chat never in the forum , but then again he now believes our kid dont excist and that means our reason of taking her to hospital is false too , not all excuses are excuses some are reasons

Yes, guess you are right, you do know where you are with crappy excuses
Still, I'd be quite happy with five blokes, I've never managed to have any more than two so far..though still hopeful

And I thought it was just me!!!
Fortunately I have only had one "no show" this year and stupid as I was I gave him a second chance and a third, both of which he managed to have emergencies with - though to be fair he did tell me in advance for those. Finally i put him on block, should have done it earlier.
As well as him I think I have about 3 that chickened out at the last minue and came up with crapy excuses.
One recent one just seemed to good to be true, own hard hat, right age, seemed intelligent not to near to home yet not at the other end of the country. Needless to say he was too good to be true and went missing when we should have been making the final arrangements!!
Btw they arent all from this site, site dosnt seem to matter, it just happens

Its just plain ignorance and lack of manner's, those who dont have the spine (male and female) to call and explain, especially if they have made all the arrangements and time etc to pick up the phone and say sorry but ............

First sentence looks to me like you have, and decided to put up a thread about it. Then you go on to say that actually it hasn't happened to you at all ....... but decided to put a thread up about it?? :confused:What am I missing? :lol2: buggered if I can see it ....... although suspect I will as soon as I press the blummin submit post button

I've never been let down yet - but that's because I've not arranged to meet anyone yet!
And I'd just like to say that if I make a promise I keep it so if anyone does want to have a go at arranging to meet me - go ahead! Although I was kind of waiting to go to a munch before trying too seriously to meet anyone as meeting a few people from here in the flesh (socially speaking) would be quite like v v v v, dammit! like being known!
