It came to me as I was pmming someone this morning (I so hope this works)
Instead of all this heavy discussion we have right now, pm someone.
PM someone that you have never pmmed before. Find out something about a person that you don't already know. Maybe it is someone you would like to know, have never met or have seen but never spoke to dunno

I don't care what you find out, maybe you could even post back on here to say what you find out. Anything would do. Someone's job, their age or when they last brought a sex aid!

Actually Fred, there is a hack for phpbb forums that allows you to asign people as a 'buddy' so you can receive PM's from them, or to put them on 'ignore' (rather like in the chatroom)................

actually since I joined I haven't PMed many people - and the majority of the PMs I sent were to mods regarding questions about the site etc. I think you've got it though - the shy thing gets in the way... but now I have an excuse to pester people via PM and I can blame Dawn mwahaha! :twisted:

Oh so true - It is so tempting to pm friends on here, but I am trying intensely to come up with a decent pm, full of witticism and an enticing question - maybe by tonight I may have thought of something! Then all I need to do is find someone to send it to!
