well it was better than last year with a few ups and downs, and a bit barren on the sexual front

Really has been a mix of good and bad this year for Lost. A result though as i always feel the bad is always outweighed by the good. One nice thing missing from our life this year though was some sun!
To those fellow members have had it rough then I sincerely hope that next year provides not only a reprieve freom the stress but positive and happy going forward in their lives.

This year has been a mixed bag for me - but aren't all years?
I successfully changed careers and secured my first post and so far it's going well.
Sexually, I pushed a few boundaries and ticked a few things off my list so that was fun. I've also met some fab people here and feel like I've made some real friends.
I'm at a bit of a crossroads though in terms of the whole scene though and considering a complete defection back to Vanilla-ville... the last part of the year could be the deciding factor.
We'll see!

This year has been a mixed bag emotionally.
Sadness due to Ex hubby and father to my daughter dying ( Thanks to the wonderful man I live with, I have been able to deal with some crazy emotions.

Happiness as I finally found a job which I love.
2009 must get better, I might even be telling a friend to get her hat out of mothballs

As always, it has been a very roller coaster year so far, with lots of ups but also many downs (no dirty comments at the back) but as Firelizard said earlier, I have my health, my other half and lots and lots of things to be so very grateful for. I have met some lovely new friends, who I hope to get to know better, and also chatted to some wonderful people off here. Ive been lucky enough to keep in contact with some very special friends and it looks like I may be going to a wedding in the very near future :lol:
All in all, when you weigh it all up, I think it has been a fairly good year

I got my op after 5 years battling
Stepdaughter got the first anniversary "all clear" after her Bone Marrow Transplant :D
Jobs are good (possibly could be better but still good)
I started my own business which is starting off well.
Money isn't horrendous (again could be better but much better than it has been for us)
We're all healthy!
We're all happier than we've been for a long time.
So all in all, ending the year on a positive note, which is all we can truely ask for!
