Our sh unsung hero's

ok we have had pm victim of the week and as a bunch often spend plenty of time taking the mikey out of each other
but i thought for a change why don't we start something to let those in sh know they are apperiated for the little things they do to help
this can be anything from a should to cry on when real life is shite to those who beaver away helping behind the seens at socials/munches/parties (this isn't taking away from the organisers they is top 2) to dropping everything to be at your side in a crisis
well after being so serious some will be thinking has the little green whore taken a knock on the head but not so just been using my eyes and watchin what others do more and well think that they should be given a big public hug from swingingheavens lovely people for what they do kind of care in the community the sh community
so heres is my nomination

well on saturday i watched the help she gave lucy and ken checking people were enjoying themselves and then remembered back to the likes of blues parties and she always in the mix helping making sure things going ok
ok you lot get busy on your keyboards and show some love for those unsung hero's tell us what stands them out

Fully agree with your nomination of Sarah, but I would also like to add two brilliant people who have been such an help with the Wigan Munch.

Very big thank you for all the help Kaz has given me, all the messing about trying to sort out my bad typing, emails back and forth and a very big thank you to both of them for offering to make badges for this weekend's Munch.

Sarah for being Sarah, need i say anymore. For all that know her they will know what i mean and if you haven't had the pleasure yet, you are missing out on having a wonderful person in your life. :inlove:

Ooooo, ok, an opportunity to say a big Thankyou and to nominate Marcuso
- for his unsung heroic coffee and meeting newbies acts. For being the friendly face of SH to many a 'local noob' and being a helping-hand through the doors of SH.
best just also mention that he does throw some of the best parties ever! biggrin

While I'm at it, Uncle Dammy should also get a mention here, for his impromptue mentoring, making folk feel welcome and included, and for not doing politics while at the same time defending the good ship Swinging Heaven and all who sail in her.
And Sarah, for being an angel as other's have already nominated and recognised. For extending the hand of mentoring and friendship across SH. :D

I have another unsung hero and this particular lady (and I dont use that term very often) is absolutely fantastic, she always listens when anyone needs her, is always there when you need a friend and most of all has a fantastic sense of humour and always makes me laugh!

At very short notice SexyJo took over the List for the Wigan Munch, sending out pm's to people, sorting out a few 'misunderstandings' about who can/cant come to a munch!

I find it so hard to single anyone out. You're all great in my book.

My personal thanks would go to equi-princess who in a short time has become a very good friend to us.... When we went on holiday at the end of October she very kindly came and picked me and the kids up and took us to Bristol shopping... She and her family opened their house up to us and looked after us....
She has helped me in many ways, and I thank her for that from the bottom of my heart... kiss

She is as mad as a box of frogs and makes me laugh, she is there when I need someone to talk to and has a heart of gold....

Well my vote goes to vicky_uk to my mind one of the most genuinely nice people you will ever meet on here, every house party i have ever been to, where she is also there, she has always gone down to who evers house it is early and helped them get the house/food etc ready in time for the 'guests' to arrive.
oh and Marcuso for driving 90 miles to feed my kids :lol2:
