woke up with a bad cold.....
sittin here feeling sorry for myself ,,,not even gone to work..
i know it sounds sad but its only and im bored already sad

how about some hints for things to do from people...
<<<how sad am i...im worrying whos driving my wagon whilst im at home lol...
had a nice bath and doped up on lemsip..........so........what now???

I have already offered mopping of brow.

Dargento I have never had a cold in my life
About twice a year i get influenza and it grounds me for hours :shock:
I suggest you re diagnose It could be a severe bout of Influenza smile

Lemsip's ok, but remember it contains a hefty dose of paracetamol.
Proper honey and lemon (two teaspoons of clear honey, juice of one whole lemon in a mug, topped up with hot water, add a small teaspoon of powdered ginger or cinammon if you like) tastes far better and you can drink as much of it as you like.

Things to do when at home ill and bored.......
You could go through all the old threads on SH.... some of the really old ones are soooo interesting...
You could trawl through the ads......
You could put the TV on and watch something educational.....lol
Got a game-cube, x-box, PS1 or 2???????
You need to do something... otherwise you'll just sit/lie there and stagnate... thinking about just how ill you feel... thus making yourself worse...... lol

watched a DVD .......led on sofa with duvet (the bedding type not the person)
had another bath......fell asleep in bath..
woke up feeling sick.....lemsip level severely depleted....rang a friend who dropped off a top up emergency lemsip.....took the said lemsip....cancelled docking friends pups tails...thought seriously about tidying up...thought better of it and rang cleaner to come in extra day tomorrow....rang about a car.....thought about going shop for more lemsips....decided to ring friend again later and whinge about not having any and rely on her soft natured self.....
then sat here and sat talking to you nice people
a big thankyou to you all for helping me through the day...
