Perfume / Aftershave

I've worn Chanel No 5 my whole adult life.
Day, night, for shopping, for work, for special occasions.
I'm not bored with it, but I somethime wonder if I'm missing out on something else really nice out there.
But at the same time, I'm a wee bit pissed off at all the celeb jump on the bandwagon scents and aftershaves that are out there.
What's your poison and would you recommend a change?

Oh, and edited to add for comments on aftershave. Harry always used to use Valentino and I don't think you can get that any more. He smelled bloody divine in it. :twisted: :twisted:
He's now on Armani Code at the moment, very nice but not the same effect as the Valentino, more's the pity, he says. :giggle:

I'm a Chanel gal too!
Mine is Allure though. I adore it. Also partial to Chance.
Why change if you like and it suits you?

Mine is Chanel Allure ....I love it !
There are lots of nice perfumes out there but I stick with the same one ....It's my signature smile

I used to be a Chanel gal but got converted after a friend bought me Ghost, Sheer Summer.....unfortunately that is limited addition and it's becoming quite difficult to get hold of so any other suggestions would be useful here too smile

I love getting the little boxes of mix Perfume I love 'ralph laren' 'romance' but some times its nice to pick a out 1 of my little bottles to where out and it fits nice in your hand bag lol

for my christmas and birthday last year dave and my daughter bought me jean paul guatier "fragile" which i wear for evenings out as a fairly heavy fragrance but i love it, "ulta violet" by paco robanne i adore this one and wear it when on a meet or we go to a club, also have "euphoria" calvin klein, as you can see i like a mixed bag for when i go out etc...
but for work just wear something fresh and slightly less expensive, usually from Avon or Next lol

Fahrenhiet is the only one i have ever really worn,and i will probably never change its my smell i reckon suits me.
But, sorry i dont really know much about ladies perfume, cos there is just so many different kinds. just giving a guys point of view.

i love opium, but its a bit hard to get hold of at times and expensive. im currently wearing a britney fragerance, smells like candy floss lol
sadely these days its soooo rare to wak past a man and go mmmmmm from his aftershave, they are all transexual and not manly anymore. or are guys not bothering?
i love the smell of brut, omg it does things to me.
re launch, charge 40 a bottle and it would be popluer i swear.

I do like trying different ones tho, luckily the ladies at my sons work give him little samples to bring home for me now an then....

When I used to wear after shave it used to be Christian Dior's Eau Savage.
These days it's Nivea's after shave moisturiser redface

I have several different aftershaves. I tend to wear Hugo Boss (Dark Blue) for work as it's not too overpowering in the office, then a different Hugo Boss for weekends, but also have a few others for nights out - Eua Savage, Chanel (for men!) and Terre D'Hermes . I just like the variation! lol

MrFB wears that, or Hugo Boss. Both smell bloody gorgeous on him silly

I wear Fidji or Poison. Boss for women is lovely too - got some of that for a pressie and it smells nice on me, I think.

My faves are Givenchy's Very Irresistable and L'Eau Dizzy by Izzy Miyake. I can't wear the heavy ones like Opium so tend to go for something nice and light.
It's worth a trek through the perfume depts and ask for samples. Be cheeky and ask for whatever you can get. Get one of these Barbie dolls in a good mood ( try late on a Friday afternoon wink

) and you can get all sorts, make up and all! If you don't like the perfume on you then just store the little bottles in your knicker drawer

I (Minx) personally love the origional version of ESCADA by Margaretha Ley. There are many Escada spin offs like 'fluer' etc that have come out since, but the very 1st in the red box is the best. I always get asked what it is Im wearing when out by both men & women who always say its awesome!
Buxie favours the Hugo for women, I love that too but I have to be careful as some react on my skin & I could smell like drains No matter how expensive it is :lol:

my main 3 do have others but i prefer the above dont wear them everyday although femme is more of a day one chanel and delicious more heavy nicer for evening

I find a little Domestos dabbed delicately behind my ears to be most alluring. I also get very clean ears.

Must admit I haven't yet tried the Domestos. I'll stick to the Yves Rocher Eryo Blue and Nature pour l'Homme.
My partner loves Obsession and it does what it says on the tin!
