He is a Siberian husky, we used to have three but sadly he is the last. They were all rescue dogs, you would be surprised how many people buy one with no idea just how much work they are.

My father in law had a malamute - he was huge! They lived in northern Canada and the dog would sleep outside in the snow, all you'd see of him was a black nose and grey ears sticking out of the snow. I've never seen so much hair come out of a dog in the spring though.
