Don't know about Polish vodka...........but have tried Romanian plum brandy, got some stashed for a special occassion :silly:

we had a good laugh tonite
a catherine wheel jumped off the post and came across the garden at us !!!!!!!!!!!!

After a really really bad & extremely drunk/ill weekend 2 weeks ago, I vowed not to touch alcohol again. I have a Polish lodger & tonight she came home with a bottle of Polish vodka :shock: never tried it before & was tempted.........but was really good(or boring) & stuck to my cup of tea confused

I drank an entire bottle of that once (it's 50% by volume Cinammon Schnapps). Several hours later I had the rather disturbing experience of gold-plating my mate's toilet bowl when it all returned. confused

Don't talk to me about Polish Vodka!
A couple of weeks ago I was in Warsaw and went to dinner. Our hosts had had the table laid out and in front of each place was a large shot glass. As soon as we sat down they were around to fill the glass with polish vodka - so whadya do? Ya drink it dontcha - so they fill it up again (you getting the trend here?) Well the first course was zureck (sp?) soup, which they served inside a scooped out loaf of bread - at least that's what I think it was...... pissed by the first course! Good night though - what I remember of it.
I've got a bottle here somewhere - fancy a shot ES? lol

Not sure whether it was the shots of vodka in between the Tennents which did the damage, or if it was the other way round.

My ex father in law is Polish and a bit loon

He made us up some vodka with raspberry & Strawberry syrup + secret ingredient up. My and my mate drinking vodka until the early hours of the morning which is essentially neat ... I have never been so sick in my entire life .... stupid really with being diabetic but I was ill for about 3 weeks afterwards and my mate has never ever touched vodka since.
Wasn't cheap vodka either.
