I haven't seen anyone but got a leaflet through the door today from the current councillor talking about defamation in a previous leaflet from a prospective councillor and that legal advice is been taken. Gloves off in my area then confused
I have had one newsletter and one leaflet from the Lib Dems, one booklet from the Mayor and a letter from a union telling me who specifically NOT to vote for

I do vote. I refuse to get into political arguements though, Im asthmatic and a complete waste of my precious breath. Im amazed at the number of people who dont vote and more amazed when the very ones who dont vote are usually the first to complain about whatever party got in rolleyes

That's very true. Perhaps the reason we have such lacklustre politicians is because of the overall disinterest in politics.
If there was more political focus then there could well be more expectations from the population, and subsequently more competent politicians.
I vote at every opportunity there is, from local elections, european elections, and general elections, my fundamental principles and values are to the best of their intentions served by one of the two main political parties.
I find Politics extremely interesting and vital.
I think one of the reasons that people don't like being in political discussions is because they see, and sometimes find themselves in aggressive and difficult arguments.
Some of the arguments are really hard to find a satisfying answer to , so politics is not that easy a thing to do. I couldn't do it, it would drive me mad. So as I gather more experience in life, I am sometimes impressed by the way in which some situations are handled.

I will only vote when there's somebody worthwhile to vote for. I have never voted.
I do believe, however, that ones' right not to vote for sound reasons is just as important as their right to vote.
