Porn. Would you do it?

Hi folks,
It's been a long time before my last confession so please forgive me!
In 2006 I attended a bukkake party in Manchester and joined a number of men, two women and a photographer. After the event one of the women asked me if I'd be interested in doing some filming and photography sessions with them. Well, you can imagine how chuffed I was! I gave my details to the photographer and left with a huge smile on my face. biggrin
If this had happened ten years ago I would have jumped at the chance but I'm a little older and a little wiser now, so instead of jumping in head first I decided to ask the advise of two of my closest friends, one male and one female so I could get both points of view. Both of them gave the same advise and after careful consideration, I decided not to take things any further for the following reason.
I have built a good life style for myself with a job that I love and my own company with some great clients. I would die of embarrassment if someone that I knew saw me, either on a porn site or the front or rear cover of a seedy porn film. Lets face facts here, you don't start off performing with stunning models in elegant locations. I also don't think that it would go down too well if any of my clients recognised me. So what would start off being cool and groovy could all end in pieces.
Would you have done it? Do you do it and if you have how did it work out for you?

IMO you have done the right thing for you.
Personally, I wouldnt have done it for similar reasons to yourself.

Not a hope in hell would I. I would panic beyond measure. Blimey I can only just get it up in the company of another swinger/s. The laws of mind over matter would prevent me :sad:

Mr Tickle - arent you worried about where the pics from the event in Mancs will end up? I know its a little different from a video etc but if someone at the event was already into staring in *porn films* I myself would also be a little concerned where the pics where going?? They might end up on a porn site on the net?? Not explained this one too well have I :lol:

I was going to ask a similar question, however, although im retired now and just pop in now and again, in the past i have on a fair few ocasions met with couples and the husband/boyfriend has taken pictures, and thinking about it now im sure they will be somewhere on the net, or certainly swopped.

After camming in the chatrooms here, I once got offered a job for some sky porn channel. The set-up sounded fair and the pay very good !!! I didn't pursue the offer though for two reasons.
The 1st is that I do what I do for fun, because i enjoy it. Getting paid for it would totaly change the dynamic.
2nd, i want my vanilla life to be pretty regular and i think having featured on porn tv would have a definate, negative impact on that. Its not that kind of thing i can imagine explaining away to Headteachers or potential Mothers-in-law ;)

Ash - I wouldn't do porn but I would do glamour and had one shoot lined up for later this year, but it may have to change as a result of our travel plans altering.
Alex - I don't look good enough to go in front of the camera, and even if I did, I'm already working in mainstream, so the answer would be no for that reason.
I have a ton of friends who work in it and have built sucessful careers from it and I have met a huge number of people who work in it. While some of them have been lovely, Jasmine Cashmere being a case in point it also attracts and creates the worst out of others. (But then so do many professions, just look at sales staff in Dixons.)
As a route to doing mainstream work, forget it, once you do porn you will never do any sustancial work in mainstream. I forget who mentioned Jenna Jameson, she has branched out from hardcore to essentially become a 'brand' with club jenna and gone into producing as many women now do in the industry to make money, Diana Devoe being another one. But Jenna is unlikley to ever have a career in mainstream film, beyond playing roles suited to her appearance or essentially playing herself as she has thus far.

Would I do porn? For a person I felt comfortable with - yes.
The idea of being an artist's or life model is great too - but I'd need the heating on - unless they wanted to make a real feature of my perky and trembling nipples biggrin
