Predictive Texting

I'm sitting here giggling to myself because I just replied to a text from someone here and my predictive texting almost got me into trouble :lol2:
It really bugs me that my phone doesn't know and refuses to learn the words "fuck" and "snog" (what the hell is an eval and a dubl anyway? dunno

) but then sometimes it does actually remember something I've typed into it.
When I try to type "one" now, my phone comes up with (first option!) "mmf" - I so hope that I always remember to change it to "one" or there could be one or two questions from friends and family redface

Anyone else have similar mistypes on their phones?

No mistypes on predictive text..... but spell check in MS Word can also come up with some strange possibilites.
Now, where's my mucky text AC.... wink

I did a thread about this a while ago after telling my friend I'd had an "Ebb" weekend instead of a "Fab" one.
Try typing "Cock" that's a particularly dangerous one :shock:

nah i'm quite good and changing the words to what i want, sleazy on the other hand is a right pain with it, anyone who has ever got a text off him will know what i mean, he never changes it just types away and sends and you have to guess what the hell hes on about :shock:

Small hijack......Does anyone know if my phone will play mp3's...a yes or no will suffice..? It's the Motorola RAZR.

I always use predictive text. My last phone was useless at this, but I have a new phone and it lets you type into the dictionary any naughty words you might want to use in predictive text which is very handy.

My old one did that, but the new one seems to pick and choose which words to save, hence it still not knowing fuck, but giving me mmf when i only want one lol

i recently had a text conversation with a friend, and we was arranging to meet.
She put ".... so we could meet at (location deleted for security reasons) and hit the sub with the log fire
obviously she meant pub, or did she? answers on a postcard to....

i love predictive texing
i also added in all the silly tx chat as well
the main thing to remember is if you add in a word like cock or anal the phone will remember then teh more you use them.
If you change anal one time for coal teh phone then remembers that as well and give the one you use more often next time round

I am a bit of a techophobe but predictive is one thing I have got sorted - very useful and time saving...although you do have to do a lot of double checking!
