Hmmmm Toyah Toyah Toyah for meeeeeeee plz..
Both at the same time, at the time. Not Leslie Ash these days look what happened last time, Lee Chapman was none to pleased.
We are the mods we are the mods we are we are we are the mods !!

in Quadrophenia it really does have to be Leslie Ash.
I used to have scooters and a parka and loads of club patches and lots of great great times. Nothing quite like Skeggy after a 5 hour ride in the pi**ing rain to find you forgot the tent had gone mouldy. And the ride back!! not with those headaches. Anyone else used to enjoy the Mod revival?
Oh yes and all for two and six with chips thrown in biggrin
Still baffles me how The Who, a Mod band ended up a Rock band
I reckon they were rockers all along but the Mods bin a bit fick didnt 'cotton on' lol
Phil Daniels please! Err what time should I expect him ?

:lol2: H n H you might not be too far off the mark, apart from the 'bit fick' remark. Riding too rediculous places miles away on scooters hmm maybe 'a lot fick' sometimes biggrin but hey all in the cause of fun :D
If you look at this link though maybe you'll see why the Mods and the Who (formerly the High Numbers) were inextricably linked :-

I guess really good muscians the guys in The Who could follow a more progressive path in music with rock as many bands did especially in and through the psychodelic seventies Armenia city in the Sky type album would be such an example >>>
Cor H n H you blew me away with great memories prompted by your post thank you.
The Who for me!Just for the music though lol!
To put it another way: I prefer the original Who album to the film. cool

I really liked both film and album - i thought the Soundtrack of the Album was better though - a few tracks extra to the original album. But yeah the Who - fanbloodytastic lyrically and musically
