At last, someone who has an education.

And what do you consider as educated then.
Maybe someone who has an education?
Well at least that's what my dictionary says anyway.

I hope Peanuts has enough of a sense of humour to stick around in spite of the merciless and largely unprovoked contempt with which he has been greeted.
It'd be nice to have someone on the boards who can actually construct a sentence. :P

I was thinking IQ as he said it displayed his intellect!!
It doesn't appear that you are too learned either eh?
So to be learned, you have to know every quote, from every piece of literature............
I'll stay un-learned (is there such a word, no idea) then.......skips away, happy and enjoying life.
Dave_Notts
Actually I knew the quote anyway Dave, I read the book at school just like Peanut is! Really enjoyed it when I was 15.
The only problem is that particular quote has been used so much that it is now only used by people who can't think of something witty!

Life, school, washing up, etc.........
Means a lot of things, to a lot of people.......would you like to re-read your dictionary and enlighten me

*Kat wanders out of the string thinking how close he had been to getting Rainbows cleaning his house in a loose button up shirt, which falls forward as she energetically thrusts the shaft of the hoover backwards and forwards to reveal tiny beads of perspiration gliding slowly and sensuously down between her perfectly formed breastsand then turns to reveal an avatar view before leaning forward and.......
Kat's thoughts finally fade into the distance........

Life, school, washing up, etc.........

I was only asked what I consider being educated is, I didn't write the dictionary, I merely paraphrased a quote from it.
Means a lot of things, to a lot of people.......would you like to re-read your dictionary and enlighten me

Why would I re-read it? It will still say the same as it did the first time I read it.
You haven't been reading too much Harry Potter have you?

Nope, my Webster's didn't have any of those under 'education'...
"The act or process of educating or being educated"
Do you have experience of the things you list?

"At last, someone who has an education". That was not answering a question.......that was a statement. I asked a question what you considered was an education because it means a lot to different people. You still didn't answer.
Does it matter?

"At last, someone who has an education". Not to me, but with this statement it sounds like you might.
You haven't been reading too much Harry Potter have you

I know! I've been told (in PM) that I lack a sense of humour - must have left it around the GFZ and it got locked in!!
Are you telling me you watched a film ONCE - or only watched ONE film - or what?? As one with an education you really do need to learn to articulate better!!
