Question about photo ads...

Hi, I'm relatively new here and all, but I was just wondering about something which I haven't seen brought up before. In the "photo ads" section, there are often ads from couples or women (and probably guys too, I dunno) which have photos with the face(s) blurred out or obscured, and then in the message it states "send face pic or "no blurred faces"
Now I know there's a lot more single guys here compared with the number of gals/couples, and they (girls and couples) have every right to be picky or whatever, but is it not a bit hypotcritical to ask for something and then not do the same? Most people on here want to be discreet and may not want to send out photos to random people on the net, and so it's only fair that if they ask for a face shot that they play by their own rules and do the same...
Am I right or am I right?

Personally I would say not, remember you dont have to answer the ad, and you are sending the reply pics to someones email, not displaying them openly on the net, all a matter of choice

exactly, if you dont trust the persons obinion then dont reply to the ad! you obviously arent the right person. simple as that

If that is what they ask for in their ad, then you need to decide if you will answer to their criteria.
Free choice etc. If you think it is wrong don't answer.

Hmm, I agree with some of the points, but I just think it's a bit of a cheek how people are like that. And I know it's a bit different in emails but I'm sure some/most of them still wouldn't send a clear face pic in a reply even if I sent them one.

On a different point. We are a new couple and been looking through photo ads of other couples and so many just show the women ??
Suppose that works if the ads for other guys, but if advertising as a couple then wouldnt mind see both lol

In our advert we have blurred our faces mainly because this site is open to all, swingers or those just having a gawp. If someone makes an active response to our advert, and we like the look of them, we will of course send a face pic, but as Jas-Tim said you have a free choice to make a reply, no one is twsting your arm (Unless you ask really nicely lol

What they said.
There is a big difference between sending a face pic to a private email address of someone you are assured is genuine, and posting it on a public forum where you boss or your granny might see it :doh:
So in answer you your question supermonkey, no you are not right blink
