thumper is a troll. trolls deliberatly come along once in a while to stir people up & generally upset the applecart.
thumper is a bit of a numpty when it comes to 'how to make friends and influence people'

well my honest opinion is it seems to be settling down ok, better than i though it would, i think the cam rooms are a great idea, saves all the pic swapping, phone calling and chatting only to find out they not who they say they are, so a big :thumbup: for that one biggrin

on a more serious note, I have to say I was as apprehensive as everyone else when the shock announcement was made, but I have to be honest, so far the management have, in my opinion, kept their word and made a lot of improvements. Now Iâ€™m not saying that these â€˜improvementsâ€™ are everyoneâ€™s cup of tea, but then looking at it from the managements point of view, they were improvements as promised.
Personally, I like a lot of whatâ€™s happened to the site, most of all the fact that there has been a pretty big influx of fresh blood.
Well I guess we are all entitled to our opinions dunno

I agree Pete - initially the influx was massive, it was unexpected and the vast majority came here looking for a sex site & a quick shag, not a swingers site. That's just my view.
Things do seem to be settling, a little, and the majority of the quick shag brigade have gone again or turned a new leaf!! I just think that now the dust is settling, we're surveying the damage - and we have to pull together if we want the 'community' back.

I went AWOL for a while and missed all the commotion but have learned the background.
I really really don't like getting random cut-and-paste PMs from horny newcomers saying how my profile turned them on and how their 9 inches it going to benefit me. What profile would that be then - the one that says I'm old and from Norwich?
And I don't like Admin PMing saying I HAVE to update my profile. No I don't.

it hasnt changed much for us tbh, except a few friends have disappeared sad

some of the continuity has gone ,
the charge on december the 7th will be a day of reckoning for us, if it happened now , id leave, by then i may well be suckered in enough to dip in my pocket , i dont know, i do know i wont be missed on here as much as i will miss you lot, our friends the older members, you know who i mean, plenty of staggy replacements will have come along by then...............

Judy .............. once again tonight this is getting to be a habbit
I have to say I agree with your post...
Like most others ........... when the 4 Tops took over the site ........ it wasnt my favourite day.
However ......... Over the last few months when I have needed help ........ they have given it ....... when I have posted rubbish they have laughed at me .......I am going to a munch and they have sent money to buy us all a drink ........... so I cant complain really..
(They need to fix the speed of the chatrooms ......... coz I cant get in but I'll shurrup)
But most important of all ...............
YOU LOT ARE STILL HERE ............... on bad days you make me laugh, on good days you make me really giggle ...... I think the forum and LMU sections of the site will reflect the users ............. we are the users .................. so if we continue with our community spirit ....... we will grow ............ if we whinge and moan .......... we will shrink..
To be honest .......... where WE go from here, I think .............. is up to US
