"The 80s" really was twenty years ago!!!!

I just stumbled across for any 80s music fans.
There are so many good ones it's hard to say which is the most memorable. I suppose comes near the top of my list. I was introduced to him by an "older woman" who also taught me a few other things ;-)
Which one brings back memories for you and why?
For those of you who don't remember the 80s.... stop reminding me how old I am! mad

Would struggle to pick one.......the 80's was the best decade ever....but honorable mentions to Wet Wet Wet and Deacon Blue, just reminds me of very good times. biggrin

I've had an even worse experience personally in the last couple of days.
I'm 31. My friends vary in age but I got a message from a friend who is 34, roughly comparable to my age.
Her daughter, aged 17, had just had her baby boy.
I am reaching a point in my life when some of my peers can actually become ....Grandparents. :shock:

Great site!
They even have non-mainstream stuff; such as 'Dinosaur Jr. - Freak Scene'. Funny thing is, that's the first time I've seen the video lol

Loved the 80's - music was just so great - well, retro now i suppose. Now, do you admit to remembering them when everything seemed so less complicated in life or just ignore them 'cos you refuse to admit it was 20 years ago ! confused

OMG what a fab site!!! Just watched Midas Touch, those hair do's!! God I loved the 80's really lived it big time. mentioned this before but we had an 80's party recently and the dressing up was outrageous, plastered the house walls with my original 12"'s and album covers and had a "beat the intro" quiz all intermingled with hand picked 6 hours of 80's music. The pics are untrue. What a great night...
I still feel the same as when I was 18 how weird is that?
