3 hours n 14 mins (to be precise)..when my partners brother was being kicked to shit by an 'anti-social neighbour' and 2 'henchmen'....... 3 weeks ago....or
approx 5 hours to get to pensioner's home after she was assaulted by a burglar (a lady from our estate)

I don't work with or for the police and never have - no-one is pulling my strings when I say that everything that Harry O has said is abolutely correct. Horny_bru_cple, I've no doubt that the problems in your area are very real and your account of them is accurate, and I'm sure that others in other parts of the country could account similar stories. However, these are issues to do with the constabularies concerned and it is no use attacking those constabularies that are pursuing positive methods of crime awareness and prevention that Sgt McKee is advocating. Similar methods have been tried with getting gay men to report anti-gay crimes in some parts of the country, and Sgt McKee's message sounds very similar to this. Despite the efforts some forces are making, as you say Horny_brum_cple, a lot leave a lot of be desired. If pressure is put on these forces from their superiors they may well be forced to act. Therefore, the best person to take your personal complaints to is your MP.

Well, thanks a bunch Horny. We get one Policeman trying to buck the system, and do exactly what doggers have asked for: Positive policing of dogging sites which focusses on the real crime in that area rather than harassing doggers.

jags ...we'd never heard of swingheaven until a spam from the site came thru ...now...yes..we were slightly annyed with one of the other 2 sites we use ..as ....we got a feeling one of them may have 'swapped/sold'...whatever...our email address.......
we then came here...n was very very chuffed to find a site with 'intellectuals' not only ruuning it...but also posting...however.......lets be frank ere.......
we've read with interest in the last cple of months....many of the 'sarcastic responses' some of the 'master/mistresses' (yourself being one)...........along with some of those that we have realised are in the 'clique'............to other postings.........it seems some of those 'intellectual' ppl....are all too ready to 'pigeon hole' n label them as being 'wasters etc......

So STOP rewording other peoples posts to suit your intolerant atttitude.
Also - you should welcome anyone who wishes to make swinging/dogging safer - whether they are members of the police force or not. Everything has to start somewhere.
I do understand about your response time statistics - on this I do tend to agree to a degree, however unless you were fully aware of the police workload at the time of each of these events, these stats cannot be verified.
