Farrah Fawcett has died at the age of 62.
Long before haidressers were inundated with requests for a "Rachel" (Friends), the "Farrah" was the style to have - and her red swimsuit poster sold 12 million copies.
She really was a style icon.

I wanted to be that Angel as a little girl. I hope she had a happy life.
Yes, a true chic of her time. Great girl. RIP Farah.
Echoes
I misheard it on the radio earlier on ... though they said Mia Farrow had died and was thinking, 'when was she ever a Charlie's angel?' ...
She'd been battling cancer for some time but 62 is young

Not only a style icon but the object of many boys' fantasies - I used to have that poster in my bedroom wall - ahhhh memories.
I wish her a good journey sad
Definite boyhood memorie with Farah I always got her mixed up with Steve Austin dunno I had a confused up-bringing
Lee Majors had a starring role as Colonel Steve Austin, an ex-astronaut with bionic limbs in The Six Million Dollar Man, a 1973 television movie broadcast on ABC.
He was married to Farrah Fawcett (Majors) on July 28, 1973, was separated from in 1979, and divorced on February 16, 1982.
So your confusion is well founded.
I hope that her death is not over shaddowed by MJ death.
Very sad news indeed.
RIP sad
A true Angel worth mourning sad
