Has anyone on here ,apart from wild rose, not been to the theatre to see this, if not WHYYYYYYYY?
I have not. A few friends of mine go from time to time and dress up and the like. I'm far too self consious for that! lol
Hell, I have a hard enough time with normal casual wear, let alone crazy dressing up! smile
please go , you can thank me later, if ever there was a show to go to, oh and you dont have to dress up, well erm , anymore than normal

You only thought of that after asking that poor noob about tattoos, didn't you?
Well, I have not been to see it, believe it or not.
We have the DVD and play it far too much. (Must have been played about 20 times within the last month)
You know, I really can't say as I have ever had the opp to go see it - maybe I am just not looking hard enough, but I don't think I have ever encountered a showing in my locale. sad

TBH, I don't wanna see a stage show, I wanna see a screening of the film, if you know what I mean.
I do not think I could be happy with anyone other than the original cast.
BTW, got it on Amazon.

Seen it on vid more moons ago than i care to mention - and i agree Tim Curry is just mwahhhhhhh no one could beat that! On stage just the once - good but not the same.
There's a cinema in Sheffield where for birthday treats/special occasions you can hire one of the screens and have them play your fav film with however-many of your friends there.
Always thought this was a nice idea

I have not seen the film yet but i would like to!
As for a live performance i would love to go to one of them!
i've seen it 3 times live now, and countless on dvd...once dressed as riff raff, the others as frank wink ...if anybody has not seen it....you dont know what you are missing  ...any way, time for a break (chucks kit kat at the screen)
I haven't seen it and I have no idea why I haven't seen it because I have been a Rocky addict since the age of 11! No tours on at the moment though sad
I went to see it at the Opera House in Manchester a couple of years ago with the University Kayaking Club!
We all got dressed up and then went back to the Student areas all dressed up. We turned a few heads in Revolution! lol The bus ride out of town was fun! biggrin
My boyfriend at the time thought it was all rather disgusting and distasteful that I had gone out in a very short satin nighty and fishnets! confused The lads were all wearing lab coats and fishnets too! He(now ex-bf) did not approve. :? He didn't last long after that. :P How can you not get it up for your girlfriend in basque and fishnets sat on top of the washing machine wanting to get it on? dunno
Rocky Horror was such a laugh, if ever it came on tour again I'd most deffo go and see it!
Munch at The Rocky Horror Show! How Cool! :D
smile
You lot must have read my mind. (Cue - weird x-filesesque music)
I sat here last night watching Rocky Horror on DVD and chatting with Charlotte about how cool a SH trip to go and see it would be! - failing that arrange a private showing of the film and all dress up anyway!
I am a big fan of the film but have never seen the live show.
Roger the Dragon
P.S. - the film was the first thing to make me consider my sexuality when i first saw it about 12 years ago.! (Found Tim Curry way to sexy - well come on you would right?)

Munch at The Rocky Horror Show! How Cool! biggrin

So all we need do is find out when they next doing a tour and how much it is for the whole stalls area ;) Seriously though bet a rocky horror munch meet would go a bomb, if it on again in near future...
ive seen it many times on stage but the best frank had to be Anthony Head (Giles from Buffy) He was nearly and I do say nearly as good as Tim Curry.
Lets hope there is a new tour soon, A SH outing maybe? biggrin

.... what she said!
I remember it was on TV really reallylate and my mum said it was funny and I should watch it  I memorised the Time Warp and then, years, later was gutted when some eejit covered it and it hit the charts. I hate that - I know it's some form of snobbery on my part, but when good stuff hits the masses, it kinda pees me off.
Got the vid, one of the hundreds of CD's (of the music variety!!) but left the huge poster in my old student house in Manchester.
An SH Rocky Munch would be absolutely fLuckin fantabulous! Can I be Magenta?
Marya I remember that version by Damian, which DJ's insist on playing at weddings which is slower and no soul to it. The australian stagecast version is fun with slightly changed versions, however, Tim's version is the best.
Check out where they have details of Rocky Horror movie sing along nights on the big screeen accross the country. I know its not the stage show but its the next best thing biggrin
