I always get a bit weepy at the turn of midnight on New Years Eve. The thought that another year has ticked over and the thought of my kids growing up a bit more, my parents getting closer to 70 and me having a couple more wrinkles or grey hairs just makes me feel so down.........nothing to do with the copious amounts of gin I've probably drunk, honest :-)

I'm actually the opposite to most people...I get really depressed during the Summer...I absolutely hate hot weather, I hate feeling sticky and lethargic when it's boiling hot and you just can't get away from it.
I tend to try and have things to look forward to...I am a HUGE planner (so much so that I already have something in my Diary for next June) so I just spend time looking forwards and that sometimes helps.
But in Winter I absolutely come alive and I love it...I love the crisp air, the cold mornings, the beautful snow...christmas...my birthday in January...I love it, love it, love it!!!
