Hi Lyns, i understand that it can be a serious but most of the time unrecognised condition, go and see your GP and see what they say!! We knew a lady with the condition once and she had a UV light box that helped her, see this link (these are a bit expensive but you can get the idea)
Hope you feel better soon and keep us posted....

Lyns, you have a lot going on at the minute too dont you, with the plans for the big day and everything?? So maybe thats a part of why youre feeling it a little bit worse than usual.
Add to that the sudden change in the weather, no wonder youre feeling it hun.
If you feel your symptoms are severe, go and see your GP, but you may be able to make yourself feel better with some gentle exercise, some 'you time' or the old faithful....choklit
Natural remedies like St Johns Wort can help (use under advice as it can affect some contraceptive pills) or other altrnative therapies like yoga, massage, reflexology or aromatherapy.
Hope this helps a little, and hope you feel better soon....remember my PM box is always open if you need me babe xxxx
I always get a bit weepy at the turn of midnight on New Years Eve. The thought that another year has ticked over and the thought of my kids growing up a bit more, my parents getting closer to 70 and me having a couple more wrinkles or grey hairs just makes me feel so down.........nothing to do with the copious amounts of gin I've probably drunk, honest :-)
It affects me too although this year I`m working in a building where the day light levels are really good so I think that may have helped me. But when I am down I use the Bach Flower Remedy called Mustard, I put a few drops in my glass of water. I also have a lightbox which has helped.
I`ve read that going out walking is supposed to raise serotonin levels as you`re getting the best of the daylight but I prefer to stay inside huddled up in the warmth.
