we have been giving a lot of thought to this , as regular party hosts that have the safety of their guests to ensure obviously its of great concern to us, we attended a play party a few weeks back , not from this site or with any other of this sites members as far as we know, they had a dedicated film room, we knew of it chose not to go into it, it was very popular with many there, ive thought long and hard about what action we would take should someone start filming anything at chez wrats, its just not happened as far as we know in a play situation, whether thats down to the guest list or not im not sure, the fact that ' this has come as a great shock ' really surprises me, i know forumites of old, have come across this kind of thing in the past, and are well versed in the etiquette of swinging, i know for a fact that some of the old skool forumites are sitting back reading this and thinking, why the surprise?
You see its always been something that has been on my mind that sooner or later someone will try and film me rose or one of our friends and that means when it happens it will be met with anger but not shock, i hope many of the chatters read this thread, alas i feel many just dont come in here till they have reason to, half the mids room will have sailed by here because of this, but what about the yorks room the nw room the scots room and so on, are they learning their swinging theory or just having daily light hearted banter and then off to a party without a clue as to how to behave??
I really dont think this applies to the majority of folk that use this or other sites, i think for the most part they are respectful and learned, but then how many bad apples does it take to make a film, causing great distress to the poor souls caught on cam...
the above post is meant to highlight a possible cause for concern that could apply to one or two ignorant folk, not the chatroom users as a whole

Im shocked to hear this.. really shocked but far from surprised. To my own knowledge this isn't the first time this has happened and as fair warning to people we know of at least one couple (Now gone, under that profile name anyway) who liked to secretly film couples who went to the house for fun.. They ended up in court for distributing porn movies.. no guessing who the stars were eh. We read about them in the papers... and felt so lucky we declined there kind offer one dark night at there house.. something said to us it didn't seem right!!
Another thing that has totaly shocked me is the comments made by someone here... who we know took photo's at an event not that long ago and we had a few words about them being taken to be told we were spoil sports!! Remember....?? Now you understand why we objected.. things soon get out of hand.
One other thing is how many people will be put off going now anyway.. they can't be named..ok, so now we just assume they will be there anyway???

Been to a few parties.. Munches, socials and apart from once never had problems.

Well maybe one ground rule for all parties is no pics or videos and then stick by it. Trust is an incredibly fluid thing in this online world and I have learnt the hard way about what the word 'trust' really means.
I am shocked to hear this news and yet not at all surprised. If rules are not clearly stated for any socials private or public then some people may get carried away in their belief of anything goes.
I think this is a good time to have this thread up with so many parties happening.
West, I am sorry it happened to you but coming forward as you have may have stopped it happening to others.
Trust is absolute in swinging, and this beggers belief.
I feel really sorry for the people he abused, because that is what this is abuse of trust as well as friendship.
On a personal note I think Id like to know who it is for we as do others use other sites, what if we arranged to meet him at his house? would he have a cam corder set up?
If we knew who it was was could stay well clear, who knows we may have met him already.(hope to god we havent)

sorry to hear what happened to you girl.;. personly i think the twat should be named and shamed on here.; that then gives people the chance to not invite them to partys or munches. and it might even stop other people taking libertys.; what happens at a party should stay at a party.. if i ever caught someone filming without permision i think i would have to shove their camara/phone up their arse..
the sad thing about not naming and shaming is it puts any single bloke on this site under suspicion of being a sex offender.......
this thread was never ever intended to name and shame the person, this thread was thought and thought about before it was put up, the intention was and still is to make people more aware of other peoples actions around them, what has happened to me cant be undone but if it saves other people the same thing ive been through this week then its been worth it. i will clarify this person WAS NOT a single male.
people are quick to jump to all kinds of conclusions about this and many other topics, an open mind is always handy when reading the forum or any text for that matter,i can see nothing in wbb post that suggests it was the work of someone with a single males profile, its just suggests it was a male that did the filming, not his partner.
as the threaddevelops though it becomes clearer and clearer wahst gone on, maybe its time to move away from the actual incident that sparked this thread and concentrate purely on the was forward,,,,

..don't know if this has been covered before, but also when visiting soneones house be aware of the discreetly positioned phone or camcorder, especially as these devices are so small now.
I once visited a couple and was aware of something winking at me from the corner of the room and it certainly wasnt the lady concerned!
