Ok, so I`m a stay at home mum (just finished a temp job), kids at school, and will soon be doing LOTS of study. There is not enough of me to go around to work, study and keep the home fires burning, but money is a HUGE issue right now.
So I get to thinking, can I earn money getting lads/ladies off on the phone. Join a sex chat line?
In non serious chats with friends, they tell me that `hell, why not, I could talk dirty and groan whilst doing the washing up!`
Knowing me however, I`d enjoy it as much as the receiver :twisted: . But what do people here know about this stuff? The thing is, people's expectations of you alter radically when they know or think you are being paid - whether it's a phone call or any other sex related passtime. Imagine yourself in this position... There's bloke on the line, he doesn't care one bit about what you like or want... he expects you to get him off as quick as possible 'cos he's paying a pound a minute to hear you grunt. And then, after, could you really say you got something worthwhile out of the deal as well? Can you be sure it wouldn't lessen your enjoyment of a 'real' encounter?
I'm skint, single parent, credit cards, fat bastard cat that eats more them I do, the works... But I know I just don't need the pressure of being made to satisfy someone else's libido for a few quid.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback, all feedback, it`s obviously something I should think hard about, and all opinions are welcome. I just hope that noone thinks any worse of me for thinking about this line of work.

For me I think any form of earning money from sex - other than proper sex therapy (nice work if you can get it!) is a form of prostitution to me. I do not mean that in a bad way and please don't take it like that - it is just a personal opinion.
There is always the danger that something you do for money loses it's appeal in the fun sense as well.
I can offer no advice on how these things work - but I have heard that some women even sell soiled panties on eBay for decent money!
Don't worry - Wilma will tell you - I am too tight to even think of paying for something like that - so I don't speak from experience!
The other thing for me is also that I have never been in the situation where I have had to consider any other line of work in order to put enough on the table to eat and therfore am not really in a position to condemn those that need to find income from any source.

At the end of the day I`ve been impressed by the open-mindedness of the people here, and if it wasn`t for that I would never have been able to get up the nerve to mention this. I also wouldn`t worry about it at all if money really wasnt an issue also, but I just managed to hold off an eviction notice, so in the light of that, getting paid to do this kind of work at home really doesn`t seem so bad. It could be worse, I could be in the position some of our Uni students find themselves in and be thinking about selling my body. I really feel for these girls.
To be honest I`ve worked in Telesales also, and thats not too pleasant, bugging people in order to earn some dough, this at least is a subject I enjoy.
Anyway, I guess I should shoot off to bed, I`m keeping Mars awake by my constant tapping!

I believe that to not be mentally affected in any way you've got to have a very very strong mind, it's not something anyone can do, and although it's relatively 'easy' money (and by that I mean quick to get) it can be very hard on you too.
