Free member access will remain free, we use the extras package to subsidise free membership and it works well. We have absolutely no intention of charging you anything at all to use the site. These improvements are in no way to turn round to free members and ask them for money.

There will be a wide range of new features introduced over the coming months as well. This re launch is just the start of things. Every section of the site is being enhanced. New profiles, site messanger, a new Rep system, to name just a few.
Believe it or not this re launch has been nearly two years in the making now, as we had to re code the whole site behind the scenes before we could even start on the new bits!. I am very excited about things at the moment and I use the new site daily in the office and its great to use.

However i like the thought that my pics are restricted to genuine people looking for meets and have paid to use the site. I feel if my pics are in the gallery they are open to public perusal. I am perfectly happy with the site. I love the changes.... intially I get a little annoyed as I have to figure a new way of doing what I like. I even lost some pics a while ago.. but Steve fished around for them and he couldn't find them. But on reflection I thought I was probably breaching some kinda fraud cos they were 12 months old.
Anyhoo.. I digress. I like the site to pay a silly amount every year. I pay for extras because I like the funky cross. Worlass pays too because she likes to blether in chat and she has neither pics or a real profile on here. We don't have a couple's account because we don't want to have a male symbol in the chatroom. I got a bit stroppy about the chatroom symbols about a year or so ago..... and they still haven't changed, but you know what.. it meant enough to me that I kept my account single and worlass's single and used the site to meet my needs.
what I am attempting to say- however inarticulately- is that the site works however you want it to. If you, personally, don't bloody like it then please, either stop using it or change how you use it. Stop with the constant sniping. It is boring and I am sick of watching (year after flippin' year) the same people whinging about the changes.
You can opt out of having your pictures in the gallery... I don't have mine there. No-one can see my pics.. well, admin and the mods can.. and perhaps their mates... but I couldn't really care less as I know neither my boss or my son use this site and they are two people I would rather not saw my naked.
The site is a business and I have no idea if you have noticed but there is a lot of business's in strife right now. Go and fight for them will ya!
oh, and you know what the implication that I am less of a swinger because a. I pay or b. I aint whinging about the f@'kin gallery is frankly insulting. I fuck loads of people and I need to use this site to get the kinda numbers I need to keep my habit sated.

My pics are private. It's not the end of the world but to have the choice of where they appear rather than having to hide them completely would be nice.
My main reason for not wishing to appear in the gallery is because I found my brother on a random search of the gallery and I'd really rather he didn't find bits of me in there. He knows my username and to avoid my profile. If my pics are in the gallery there's every chance he's likely to happen across my tits and ass. Something neither I, nor he, would choose to see.
Yes the site works, yes I think most of the changes are for the better but I'd like to support Admin 100% and at present, on this topic, I cannot because for the reason stated above I disagree.
So yes, I'm over it. The site doesn't work as well for me as it did but this is something I cannot change so I've accepted that my photos require to remain private. Doesn't mean that I'm not going to voice my opinion on it as and when I choose to. That is one choice, as a member here, that I am afforded.
What I have come to realise, is that the changes here will take place whether the forum minority like them or not. There will be a 10 page thread whinging about it, there will be questions asked and some answered, some not, there will be a period of calm and everyone will get used to it... just like the tagging of pics, the quickies, the friends feed and I believe way back when the introduction of the postcode feature. People don't like change. People do like choice. There is a choice, you accept the decisions made higher up the chain or you don't. Should you choose not to, you know where the door is. Simples.
However, I'm happy to listen to rants, to type rants but I'd never state that you couldn't make them cause as far as I'm aware, the freedom of that choice (within the AUP) is allowed.
