in the gallery one click for distance another for search and hey presto pictures! wohoo... so much more easier, if i wanted to find someone i knew in my area i know which route i'd go down!
Err, no. When searching by postcode, the first thing that comes up is a list of names ACCOMPANIED by a public profile pic, if there are any. No effort required at all.
but the public display pic if there is one can be sensibly chosen, you can have no public display one but still have pics on your profile

Exactly.....and then the "sensibly chosen " pic is what would appear in the gallery. So what's the problem?
the fact that all the pics go into the gallery, one pic fine, we can choose that one pic and the rest just go in a profile.
the problem is a choice.... the fact that with everything else on the site we get a choice to participate or sue the feature... yet all pics go into a gallery the only feature that is readily available to non-members as well as members... the only part of the site that doesn't have any obvious links to the fact this is a swinging site... hence why we called it the wank bank.... its just a mini porn site.... amatuer porn pictures where you scroll through. something you are forced to paarticipate in if you want to have pics on a profile.... and remember

Users who complete all of their profile get a 73% better success rate on average!

enticing you to put your pics on in order to entice new members... like we have said several times the gallery is fine, if you want to use it fine, if you want to be in it fine.... just dont force us

Its not really a new site, its the site as it is now with a new look and layout, we have deliberately limited functional changes to be as small as possible, so this change is all about the look and feel. The changes that there are address usability issues, we know from the last update that changing too much and adding too much at the same time isn't a good thing, so were trying to make changes in small steps.
I'd say its going to be 2 to 3 weeks more before were finished and have ironed out all of the bugs we can find in house, then the new version will most likely be linked from your homepage to have a nose around with a link back so that you can report any bugs, or parts that don't make sense together with any other feedback.
and two-4-more you may only be one voice or one of a few that express themselves in this part of the site, but we do listen, true there's a lot of other members we have to listen to and we will do what we think is best for the majority and the site, but where we can we will also try to keep everyone happy where its reasonable, all of this of course needs to be weighed up with how long things take to implement, impact etc
The other thing we have to contend with is that some people like to argue the toss no matter what changes here and if you look through the forum posts on every perceived or actual change since we took over you will see what I mean, so there's sometimes a perception issue at our end as were not always sure of the motives behind these discussions and in the case of the gallery opt out, there hasn't been a lot of people that have stood up and said that they wanted it.
The thing is you have been heard and like any feature request its recorded, assessed and re-assessed, assessments made, either implemented soonest, later or never depending on priority.
I still don't believe that this is something that needs to be put in place in front of the other changes needed here, we have had a gallery for a long time here, the current version has the same pics, just easier to find, there's opt out for location and as we keep saying there's the private option.
I'd also appreciate it if you would try and be a bit factual, I mean this bit;

I mean honestly, have you tried logging out and taking a look at what non-members see, not to mention the defamatory remarks you make!
I'm honestly not sure if your just debating because you've found something to debate about or your serious, I think its best to stick with the feedback we get elsewhere when it comes to making decisions for now.

have pm'd you but if admin members had have said they would look in to or review then maybe we'd stop going on about it, the main issue is choice, and being able to decide where our photo's are used, one mans meet is anothers poison, what one likes another doesn't... if it was one of those things were you could only facilitate one or the other then fine go with a majority, but is is just a simple icon, an either or box, something that will not affect anyone if someone chooses to put their pics in a gaallery or not.

yeah - not been able to get on-line much recently so wasn't as up-to-date with the changes
Thanks to the new easy to use gallery search by more than 1 person!!! to enquire if I was the same nose-ring wearing person sucking cock on our vids!!!!
Vids now removed that show any hint of identifying parts! - all pics that could even hint at what we might look like taken pvt!
Had the peeps that lived close & approached been interested but just not our type....well, totaly different to them approaching, not 'cause they interested but 'cause they've seen us and think they've guessed right!

I do read posts, and no not in this post it does not mention tagging, but i do know that like me DG had concerns over tagging in previous posts, as well as the gallery and other things just as i did.
Im sure that Dg knows me well enough as we have met socially on a few occassions, to know that my post in no way was meant to be patronising and if that is the case and she felt it was, then i will apologise here and when i meet up with her again.
I did not like the gallery either and my suggestion was that ONLY members who place Adds should star in it.
I do not like any verification system and will Opt out. I did not like the quick message item and also various other things as well. I have made my views known on all the above and on other things i have not liked.
but what ever changes are made as Admin see fit, if i like them or not, i will make adjustments to my profile to make it work for me, as at the end of the day i appreciate that changes have to be made and its the majority vote that will win.
