always best to shake, would be awful to leave the toilet and then leak a little into your shorts... embarrassing!
I also (purely personal preference mind) like, when time, to have a little squeeze too, you know, a bit like you might imagine a 'milking action' on a fine udder to be. Just for safety's sake. and for sensation of course, but we wont go into that right now.

Being a sportsman now is a joke....they dive they cheat, and most will break the rules to try and win. That is in any sport it seems now.

I think they should each be given a big fluffy cotton bud like what they have on gladioli's and fight it out on pay to watch tv. then both should be sacked. To be honest I dont know what your friends are like but I know mine would not go shagging my ex partners very soon after I broke up with them. I wouldn't do it to theirs either. I would consider it something that didnt even have to be discussed just kind of general etiquette or protocol.
Back to the original question. I'll just answer as if it was me as thats the only way I can think of it. Yes, I would shake I think! I would consider it totally game related and not a symbol of anything else. Hard to say though you dont know what emotions Bridge has tied up in all of this.

I'd be kinda grateful if they'd all just disappear. I think it's ridiculously inflated and we really don't need to hear any more about it. It's playground stuff. These grown(?) men get paid a fortune to play professional football, professional being the operative word. Keep your private life private, leave the childish "I'm not shaking his hand" rubbish at home and get on with the job that you get paid for. If he wants to cut off his nose to spite his face and not play in the world cup then hell mend him... let him get on with it.

They WILL play no matter what happens unless they get injured.
It is a right for these players as not to have them in the team just does not bear thinking about, so I would say they do think it is their right, and most supporters would agree.

But people do though, and that is the point you seem to be missing.
Bridge has said nothing whatsoever to the media. He has spoken to the England manager and has made a decision, he says based on his Son.
Bridge did not ask for this, he did not ask for the media hype and as much as I think Terry is one of the best Chelsea players we have ever had, I back Bridge 100%.
Can you show me where Bridge has said anything to anyone publicly?
I think not many guys would want to shake the hand of a so called mate, who has been found out to have sneaked behind your back, to shag your ex bird, the Mother of his child.

It's not their right. They have to earn that right. I'm not saying those you mentioned haven't earned that right but to play for your country should be treated as a privilege and not a right.

I don't care... like millions of other people. I don't need to read about someone else's dirty laundry in the newspapers... granted some people do and that's entirely their choice but who was fucking who has fuck all to do with football. I'm not interested in who's in the right or who's in the wrong... if I behaved like that at work I'd be fired. Simple. Leave your private life private and treat your professional life as it should be treated, a profession, and if you're good enough to play for your country then you should be proud but it's not a right as you put it, it should be an honour.
Supporters should be caring about their club and their player's professional lives, not their personal lives and when the two cannot be kept seperate then the individuals should take a good, hard, long look at themselves and decide whether they're in the right profession. The media have a lot to answer for and quite frankly they should be shot, as should the people who buy the rags! :mrgreen:

For me it's not really about morals... people will do what they will do, not for me to judge. I just like privacy and I think that something that happened in their private lives weeks/months ago should be left there for them to deal with. I don't get why its still going on so publicly. I have a whole lot more respect for people who don't feed the media frenzy.
