I'm quite new here but the shrep system did immediately strike me as ridiculously overcomplicated.
The jury is still out on the site as a whole but, in comparison to conventional sex dating sites, it does seem to appeal to people who are primarily interested in being part of an online community rather than actually doing anything (and so probably quite happy to have something like shrep to fuss around over). So far it feels more like a kind of swinger's purgatory rather than heaven to me.

Which is why I fear I am going to (eventually) be forced into using SHREP as a means of being taken seriously ....
Having been here since 2003 (in various guises) I think it's a safe bet that any of the longer serving members I would normally cross path and interact with would have met me or me them if they had wanted it to happen....
I think a lot of the newer members are all going to be a bit hung up on SHREP so trying to get on without it is going to be even more difficult than it was before it came along....
Not sure if that makes sense to anyone but it sounded right in my head :lol2:

Had raised a support ticket on an Shrep issue yesterday, now fixed, so people shouldn't now be encountering any delays, i.e. Shrep tasks updating within 15 mins of being actioned

It would seem that the improvements made to shrep have broken it!! It all looks very pretty but it would be really nice if it worked!!

We've received some lovely comments on our Shrep, and I thought I'd go and return the compliment ... however, either it ain't workin or I'm real dumb and can't find out how to do it ... can anyone help? I'm goin round in circles and not getting anywhere.
I might sleep on this and come back tomorrow to see if it's working.

Issue = when in Shrep meetings tab, the << prev and next >> commands not working
(Posting here might mean you won't get multiple tickets raised by colleagues for the same issue)
Apart from that, on first trying the :: Shrep screen after the change was applied seemed to take 2 attempts to work, it's worked as expected ever since.
Also, we like the new look, much cleaner and informative :happy:

I just had a message from a guy and went to have a perv at his profile where I noticed that he had a negative shrep.
He had posted the comments which basically said that they had arranged a meet which he had to cancel at quite short notice but he did let them know.
What is negative about that? Shit happens and people sometimes have to cancel. At least the guy let them know!! Well done this guy for not hiding it. I would think twice about meeting the people that left it!
There should be a way to dispute the shrep that people leave or at least comment on their comment. I'm starting to notice more and more flaws in this system.

The shrep says that he cancelled but he did let them know. How can he be covering a bad shrep up?? and why should he get a bad shrep in the first place??
It appears that the couple concerned have used shrep to vent their frustrations. He didnt stand them up. He called and told them that something had come up and he wouldnt be able to make it. Shit happens!!

yes I have to agree,
we have had loads of peeps we hve meet and they put it as a v and not a M, would be far better to have a simple way, but the good thing about it been a night mare, s lease it has more chnce of been genuien and therefor finding genuine peeps
