Hi all, any peeps not sure what to do over Xmas. It is a great time of the year but not the same without a partner or offspring. What are you single people thinking of doing? Would love to hear from a female/ couple who fancies going away for Xmas or meeting up. Happy Xmas to you all.

But i love christmass.
I've taken myself off on holiday the last couple of years with mixed results. This year I think I'm going to invite myself round to a friend's house, whether they like it or not. It is tough, though, as I think I'm impossing myself on them when it should really be a family time.

i found my first xmas single very hard, didnt know what to do with myself, now i love it
xmas eve and xmas day with family, boxing day getting lashed at a friends house, back to work for a couple of days.
north east social on 29th, dads birthday 30th, have invited a couple of friends off the site to stay for new years eve, drinks and a laugh in good company, new years day with family, then back to work again

after a couple of xmasses >sp?< surrounded with family illness etc.. and various other concerns, I was alone last xmas... and though I was a tad caught up in the thought of others all around me having fun in the company of others.... I rather revelled in my quiet issolation....
not sure about this year though.....
we shall see.... Im not the biggest santa fan anyway

This may seem old fashioned, but what about spending it with family? You know, parents, siblings? I know it's always nice to be sharing it with 'the other half' but you don't have to be in a couple to enjoy Xmas and New Year.
I had my first solo xmas last year.. was ok generaly as long as you keep yourself busy....
this year i am going to lanzarote for xmas...so will be sat on abeach during the festive season but back in time for NYE... fully recommend it...

big hugs to all the "on your owns "at xmas from us two, you never know there may be a party in the offing for one or two of you, not sure what we are doing yet but could be fun to have some of you around, saying that if you stayed the night on xmas eve and we had the customary visit from father xmas would a mod be able to vouch that santa is not a banned member or a member of another site........

at xmas day after boxing day i put a add in for a lady to go on holiday with all ways go to lanazrote 15 days in the sun and funny thing is there is all ways ladys up for it so everbody is happy :P
I'll be working, can't stand christmas anyway.
Looking foward to new year though, my mates getting married on the 30th and a fancy dress party on the 31st.

Mum and dad will be at my sisters and brother-in-law’s , watching my niece open her pressie’s then having Christmas dinner . my sister and I don’t get on and as im a stubborn git through my own stupidity it looks like its just me and peg now
Ill still put the tree up and the deck’s , get some Christmas spirit , put the songs on the stereo and dress peg up to look like Rudolf .
Iv got a choice of Christmas DVD’s to watch , you know the ones you have to watch after the Christmas dinner !
