site problem?

This site keeps asking me to update the information asking for country we live in and post code ( like it did when the site got took over )
also getting error message ( Could not query config information ) about 9 times out of 10 when viewing the forums and profiles..
Just me or the same for everyone?

One of the database servers had an error, our server consultant is looking at it.
It really shouldn't have happened, we have two master servers that share datbase load between them, each has a slave server and we also put in another two lsaves this week to take on load whenever maintenance is needed, 6 in total not to mention the other 8 servers supporting this site.
Our apologies for the downtime, we all have text alerts when the site goes dwon and people in the states that monitor the site 24 hours a day on instant response, the db oissue didn't trigger any of that, so we will have a look to see if theres any other mechanisms we can put in place just in case this happens again.
And a big thanks to Tony from me for calling me to let me know.
Added: I really must read my posts before hitting submit to correct the typos, Frecklebird will have a feild day correcting this lot.

I think, it don't matter how big a site, or how many servers.. all sites will fail at some point.. but thats technology for you! lol

Ok we will up their current allowance and give them a few more Amps, we added a few more mates as some of them were getting a right old flogging, now life should be a bit easier on them, although once in a while one of them still gets ill or decides to go on strike.
