He clearly was not comfortable about this talk and produced a little notebook sized pamphlet thingy entitled BOY TO MAN. Now I'm not saying the booklet wasn't useful (it was very informative in fact) but some face-to-face words would have been better.
In the end the only useful advice I ever actually receieved from my dad about the sex act - yeah I'm always acting, I don't mean a word of it - was this -
....... always, always make sure you take your socks off BEFORE you take your trousers off - cos every man looks a prat running about wearing just their socks.....

Ok so last night I got a little frisky with mr lyns.... and it wasn`t till after we had finished he noticed that i`d left my socks on... 
. In my defence it is november and it is starting to get cold...... I thought he was going to boot me out of bed :giggle:.
