Can anyone tell us were the nearest nuturist (Sandy) beach is to Briighton we are so feed up with those pebbles
The only other beach along there that i can think of at the moment is Eastney beach, Portsmouth, but thats mainly pebbles too im afraid
I dont know of any there but i do know there is a nice sandy one at st osyth in essex...very nice on the dunes there...
As far as I know the south east is pretty much all pebbles, but some beaches have sand when the tide goes out far enough. Nature is no respecter of naturists!
Apart from the official Brighton beach of course there is also the unofficial one down by Shoreham powerstation. I imagine it's pretty much the same as the others though. I wasn't too far from it this weekend near Hove lagoon, and there is some sand once the tide goes out, but it's soggy stuff, and personally I'd go for a decent beach mat and something on my feet to get to my chosen spot.
There's Camber Sands but I'm not sure whether there is a nudist part but allegedly there is, might be a bit too far though.
Probably too far, for you, Pink Princess
but the best we know is just a few miles from here
Sandwich Bay is accessed through the town of Sandwich. It's a long strip of sand dunes, sometimes frequented by swingers towards the evenings - it is about 15 minutes hike from the car park at the gates to the Prince's Golf club.
Well worth a visit for good soft sands running out intothe relativeley warm waters of the bay.
details from us if you need them

Yeah! come on moderator nudists beaches are legal as is the naturism that is practiced on them, a bit heavy handed me thinks
Oh YES AND THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLIED UNFORTUNATELY THE WAY THE SUMMER IS GOING OUR WHITE BITS WILL HAVE TO STAY WHITE
Fairlight Glen beach is sandy as far as I remember when I last went ! However the access was getting awkward due to slippages affecting the pathway/steps to it.
Just 'Googled' Fairlight and found that officially the former access route has been closed as unsafe by the local authority. However - people still go there via alternative routes.
As I'm not sure if we're allowed to post links I'll happily PM the link to anyone who is interested as theres a good description of the route and a June 2004 account of a visit.
Also not as crowded as Brighton but without facilites like toilets etc so you need to take your own refreshments and be prepared to disappear into the bushes when needed.
And go to Studland - its beautiful down there.
we`re off to shellness in kent today if anyone wants to say hi
There have been a few posts recently about naturist beaches, so cant explain why yours was deleted.
Maybe theres another reason as to why your message was deleted, nothing to do with its content?
T'weren't me either - but the inserted words from the Mod did say it had given not only location but directions too.. maybe that's why.
The Mod who did it will be around at some point when work, life and home are all sorted out, no doubt.
